Mc-here's your ankle snapping, jaw dropping, just another day at the office-David. I am so very excited to watch these boys bring home the hardware this year.
This list does not do justice. As an oilers fan who has seen every goal from an oiler during the 22-23 season, he has had far better plays during the season. It feels like the NHL is favoring "milestones" rather than objectively placing his goals/assists where they deserve to be. Most of these highlights are everyday McDavid.
@@Flashyfinancier goals number #10, #9, #8, #4 are all beautiful goals, but he only beat one player in all of them. And the one against Arizona is there strictly because it was his 60th. He has better goals than what is displayed. Go watch an “All Connor McDavid’s 64 goals” and you’ll quickly realize I am right.
@@chadpubgmDoesn't look like he did. ESPN thinks hockey has ties though. Not surprised they don't speak on it much. It's always an embarrassment when they do.
Most times it even looks unfair what he does to the majority of NHL defensemen. I have never seen a playing go from coasting to top speed so fast . He is a absolute beast and a highlight reel all day long !!!! There are a lot of great skaters in the NHL , but not on Mcdavids level .
With 153 points picking the Top 10 must be a challenge or the easiest thing in the world. Many of his 153 could have made the list and my jaw still would have dropped.
Every highlight is coast to coast this guy is different, you don’t see any of the greats doing this. They all have an office, the rink is mcdavids office
@@dkhdkh9606 And I hate those too. I would call everything that is an infraction. But McDavid is clearing cross checking on that play. Full extension of the arms and bending at the waist. It is a clear infraction that should be called 100% of the time.
@@Caxap678 так вроде уже сыграл 6 сезонов, выгребая за сотку. У овечкина за всю карьеру меньше. Точно, глупо сравнивать. Про качество хоккея вообще молчу.
Seen all the greats since Booby Orr and yes McDavid is better than Gretzky - only seen two players who can control the ice like McDavid - Orr and Lemieux and McDavid is faster and quicker hands. McDavid would have had obscene amount of goals in the 1980’s
It's so funny when people try to justify anyone but McDavid being the best player in the game. Crosby, Mathews etc. aren't even close to McDavid ability. Ask anyone who is NHL or has played juniors and you know. It's McDavid by far.
Some of these are not even his best plays from this year. There was a goal against Toronto in Toronto that was better than the one against Toronto in this video. Top 10 videos don't really do McDavid justice. I have seen him live and hundreds of times on TV and there are so many plays that don't get recognition because he doesn't score on them. There is a highlight reel play at least two or three times a game and moves that would make your jaw drop that he doesn't score on. I have seen him dangle through 4 players TWICE on the same shift and then get stoned by the goalie.
@@vegasbucs3519 Another basketball fan that knows nothing about hockey. Basketball teams rely on the skill of players. Hockey teams rely on luck, and most importantly, good goaltending. You don't have a good goalie, you are not going far. You basketball fans need to stop watching hockey.
I make a statement and since it doesn't fit your pompous viewpoint I know nothing about hockey. Shut up. I am so tired of idiots like you that make a broad statement about my hockey knowledge from a single sentence. I hate the NBA. It sucks now and I can't stand the Oilers so I love making digs at McDavid any chance I get. He may never get a cup and now I hope even more he doesn't get one. I hope the whole country of Canada never sees another cup. There does that fit better for you. @@odoaceroftheneoromanempire7178
Crosby plays against the best year in and year out and still dominates. Mcdavid goes against the worse defense and goaltending all year. Of course this will happen.
Put this guy in the 1980s and he's better than Wayne Gretzky. So is Ovi and Crosby. Not a knock against Wayne, but the hockey players then and now aren't created equally. It was definitely a tougher game back then but the guys now are bigger, stronger and a hell of a lot faster on skates
There’s a couple top end speed guys faster then him. There’s just no one faster with the puck and no one who can change speeds and accelerate like him.
Not sure how familiar you (Deborah) are with sports, but some other terms used would be tempo, pace, flow, rythym. The way he plays is just so much faster he goes to his own beat and that beat is faster then anyone else’s out there lol
