I know what you mean. No extra flair, just pure efficiency. He nets the puck the easiest/safest way he knows how, resulting in just clean, filthy goals. No wasted movements or added moves for flair. Actually pretty typical of our good humble & down to earth Canadian boys. No showing off for added attention (since we already hate being the centre of attention all the time, also just ends up adding another potential unnecessary target on your back), we just wanna get the job done, since winning ultimately is and has always been, our primary objective, and not individual recognition/gratification.

@@PatLally21 Yah, Crosby & Bergeron has chemistry together, going back to their time playing in the World Juniors. Marchand plays with Bergeron in Boston so chemistry between them is obvious. McDavid can play with MacKinnon to form a scoring blitz line. Perhaps Crosby & McDavid can play on the PP together --- putting them on the ice at the same time seems like a no-brainer to me.

And eventually with knowledge, training and better equipment you get another one but on the next level. Still have yet to see another Gretzky/Lemieux, but I’m sure he is coming.
