Love Garland. First thing I noticed about him is how often you notice him on ice. He is present every shift. He makes a difference. Lots of skill and grit. Thrilled to have him on the Canucks!
He's a really underrated player. It's said he's a great team mate and a really good dude. I love the smaller under dog players, like Garly & Hoglander. Just totally tenacious and hard to play against. He impressed me so much I won the bid for his game worn Jersey. It's going up along with Milsey's Jersey in my Man Cave. Keep up the great work Conner, I'm glad we've got you on our Team. Cheers!
I had the pleasure of watching him compete in Moncton with the Wildcats. He moved the puck well..such a crafty player. Was nice to see Barbashev win the cup twice. They flourished with the Wildcats. Look at them now !
I remember when he came over from the trade, it was a big adjustment for him, wasnt sure if there was a fit there. So glad he stuck it out. He's a great play driver.
Always was a big Garly guy, he was a stud first-liner in Arizona before. Thought he would have a big impact when he came but glad to see he is finally getting back to that calibre.
Was super high on this guy when we first got him. Went cool on him for a while... But damn, how awesome is this bloke! Funny dude, well articulated, especially for a hockey player.
I went to a Tucson Roadrunner's game and a couple in front of me were wearing Arizona Coyotes jerseys with Garland's name on them and I believe his number was 83.
Repetitive... in so many interviews. Don't get me wrong... it is a remarkable achievement, but the over focus on it, by some, gets annoying. As a shorter man, I know that certain people get a little obsessed about bringing my height up... which I find weird.
Have you guys thought about mentioning that he's short? I feel like it's something you should bring up. I can't think of why he wouldn't love talking about his height all the time, and as a fan, it's what I wanna hear about.
Literally a terrible job done by Scott Oak or whomever made these questions. If they weren't talking about the man's height, it was a lot of negatively. Horrible questions, do better.
@@joelface honestly haven't noticed. I dont watch alot of them really but I was floored when I was listening to it. If its been like this alot perhaps it is time to get rid of it.
@@CoryWowk He asks tons of inappropriate questions, or emotional questions that he follows up with something tonally inappropriate right afterwards. It's just bizarre.
Are you trying to spell Taut or Tough? I mean, I do think the Canucks are a pretty tough team this year. Some huge defensemen, and an offense that crashes in on the forecheck. Miller also really uses the reverse-hit to give himself space.
