I think people take Mcgregor for granted too much. The guy became one of the most famous sports people in history competing in a sport that a small minority of people watched at the time. One of the greatest entertainers and showmen of all time without a doubt, and let’s not forget he had the skills to go with it. Connor first and Khabib later made UFC big, its the biggest fightingsports today because of that era but especially these two guys who transcended the sport. You need that as a sport

He even praised that Logan youtube kid for bringing light to the art of 1v1 fighting. Although their means aren't the same. He is by far the best entertainer by any means. He is THE troll. To be clear, Conor is not exactly the first fighter to trash talk and not be short on bravado. Muhammad Ali was the original public trash talker…and, IMO the best. There’ll be another at some point or another…for anyone that has ever spent time in a men’s locker room, juvenile behavior is not exactly uncommon among young men who are in excellent shape…and having been handed a gigantic pile of money for beating up other fighters only builds up that old male ego. Frankly, it can be a recipe for disaster for a lot of personality types.

mcgregors energy is like no other he honestly brought true entertainment and comedy to ufc. without him it was straight boring. I love the golden era of McGregor just taking the absolute piss out of everyone and making them look like fools. so quick witted and funny honestly its a shame this era has gone now. won't ever be anyone like him. Im not a fan of many people in anything but I'm a fan of McGregor. funny cool guy that achieved big things in a game where there wasn't much money.
One of the best mcgregor line is when Dana white asked where the ring girls was on ultimate fighter and Conner said Uriah Faber should get in there and shake his ass chin!
Oh man... love him or hate him, nobody can deny that in his prime (yes he's passed his) he had the best trash talk, he new perfectly how to get in his opponents head AND make the public love him and laugh with him.
I feel like part of conors insane confidence has to do with the insane amount of support he gets from Ireland. Probably even at a really young age he was built up to be great and he just excelled with that support and it just kept growing and growing every time he won
