A young girl, written off as non-verbal, through the magic of music, and against all odds, found her voice. #AutismAwareness She did amazing to get up on a stage with that many people!!! Video Credit: Little Big Shots
I'm convinced...this child's heart is in that left hand....and Christ himself is at the very center of her voice. Thank you Father God for Kaylee. That she might show us all how it's done.
I love to hear this young girl sing this song. When I'm down and sad , I listen to her and it makes feel better. Keep singing young lady.. we love you❤
How nervous her school music teacher looked when he started playing piano bless him! One minute he’s playing in a school then he’s in Hollywood! He did a great job! 👍🏻

Not yet. But I hear Michelle Obama is working on a version that will premier on OWN next Christmas. According to some insiders, Michelle Obama has the best voice in the whole world.
As a 25 year old diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome and mild ADHD, I am impressed as always, I remember crying so badly when I first saw this before 'Jesus Christ Superstar', and DANG, she nailed it!!!!!!!! I cried even more when Pentatonix popped up after she sang the first verse
I saw her school performance and it made me tear up. Then came across this! Wow! Teared up again 😭.... She is so beautiful! She looks like Liv Tyler!! Good luck little lady!!
The way she carried that last note by giving it a "trailing off", vibrato-lingering sound into this "awe" moment in the air (2:53-2:55) embodied just how amazing and awesome this cover came across as a whole. Well done Kaylee w/Pentatonix!!
I am so glad to see how far Kaylee has come, both in her singing and her disorder, and wish her a bright future! I have several emotional problems which have (outside of small talk) made it often difficult for people to comprehend what I am saying or for me, them. After a lifetime of misunderstanding, I found my voice through my singing at the age of 60. I've now been singing karaoke some seven years, and when I see people smile or cry, I know that I'm finally understood!
The first time I saw her was at the school Christmas Program, now on here. I get goosebumps Everytime I watch and listen to her. She's like an angelic gift from God. 🙂🙏
She melts my heart. What an incredible voice! Overcoming Autism and ADHD is hard and I'm so proud of you for doing so! Stay strong you little fighter! ❤ Oh, and keep singing! 🙂
@@trreb1 I think maybe she was trying to raise awareness to think that autism is something that can be "cured." What does happen often is people find great ways to make the aspects of living with ASD less difficult and usually this is by focusing energies on our strengths. So over time we can cope better and do better across the board. Not sure it that made sense but I know the OP only was trying to be kind, too. I understand the meanings behind both statements ♡ Take care.
My brother has autism too he used to be completely non verbal then I started to pray he started to sing stopped for a bit and now he's starting to talk and sing again soooo happy and proud
The truth is: Pentatonix wasn't "humoring" Kaylee, they were in fact auditioning. And so: "Ladies and Gentlemen, tonight you are to be witnesses to history in the making. Right here on this stage, the debut performance of a new acapella singing group, the Hexatonix.
Kaylee- my son is 7...he is also autistic and ADHD. I cannot begin to express the hope you give me for his future! Thank you for sharing your amazing beautiful gift with us!
Kaylee has an amazing voice, and should be really proud she has managed to overcome the anxiety that often goes along with autism and ADHD. However, autism is not something to be "conquered": ignoring it or masking can create far more problems further down the line. What is needed is reasonable adjustments to enable autistic people to live fulfilling lives.
This! I came here to watch Pentatonix and as an autistic adult myself, that headline was a bit shocking (if not surprising). Do better. "written off as non-verbal" etc. The language of this is all inspiration porn terribleness! Ick!
@@hernameispekka_Rebecca Although I completely agree with this maybe what the title meant is music helps her adjust to live a fulfilling, a sort of way of coping
Everything Good comes from God...all the Glory goes to him for her healing thank you Lord Jesus 🙏🥰❤️💯 an yes her school performance was from the heart ❤️ Really touches the Soul 💯❤️🥰🙏👍🧑🦳 God Bless this lil Angel
As a 3006 yr old Demi-EarthDiver diagnosed with Grandiose Inferiority Complex and a mild Disorderly Conduct disorder, I always thought they were singing “Hello Julia”. I still do
