Hi , is it tough to climb the yulong mountain without a travel guide? Is it must to book a travel guide if we’re with family of 4? The entree fee is 200yuan only for the yu long mountain or with the cable car as well? It would be great if you give me some information regarding Lijiang old town as im going this November..
@@JaswiniDuragaiya i talked about the booking and fees in another comment respond you can go look. Regarding the mountain. No it’s not very tough what’s tough is the thin air for many many steps. But if you just go the four of you can spend as much time doing it as you want with breaks to make sure you don’t get too exhausted. Everything is nice and safe and I would recommend just going on your own since a guide is not worth it.
Do you have an overall budget estimate from Bangkok to Yunan province for a couple? includes hotels, food, etc. You can exclude plane ticket since it's changing. Thanks in advance. Also, How many days do you recommend? (In Thai Baht)
We took the train to the Yunnan province from Laos, Laos is the only place where u can take the train from. The train from Luang Prabang to Kunming is around 4000 baht for 2 person. Chinese Visa was around 1750 baht each, we did the visa in Bangkok. In China, we highly recommend staying in hostels but booking a private room if you want privacy. The standard is high and feels just like a hotel but a bit cheaper. Around 1150 Baht per night for 2 people in an extremely nice room. We had a full skyscraper view from a private hostel room in Chongqing. Food prices are what you make of it. We got nice noodle dishes for 100 baht but u can also choose to go very expensive since China offers everything. Plenty of street food and other street snacks will range from 75-150 baht. Alcohol and partying are "expensive" in China compared to other expenses. A beer in a nightclub would be around 200-300 baht. Public transportation is super cheap in the whole of China, around 50 baht for 2 people using the subway for 30 minutes or more. in terms of days we stayed I think around 11 days We had 3 nights of Kungming 3 nights Li Jiang 4 Night Chongqing and that was plenty for covering these 3 locations. If you like having a busy program, 2-4 nights per location is often enough. For Li Jiang, our 3 nights were enough since the mountain takes 1 day and then seeing Li Jiang's old town and other attractions also takes up 1 day.
For 2 people we spend around Accommodation 1500 baht per night Food not more than 2000 baht per day and we ate a lot. Alchohol would be 2000 baht for one night out as well. So around 6000 baht on a good day with some bar or party at the end.
Tickets are bought through an app when u are there. They can be bought the day before going to the mountain, hostel or hotel staff helps you with that. Can be any time of the year 🙌 200 yuan per person.
