Could you propably add the "AOTR 8.2 + Submod" as an viable option into the official BFME: Patch 2.22 Launcher? (The youtube creators name is "Nolmo", he is a good man and his mod is insane)

When creeping a goblin lair with a hobbit, try clicking A and then right click behind the lair. This way, he will kill whichever goblin comes in the way. Your hobbit was low because the goblins surrounded you.

No pikemen and you're afraid to trample? Leadership doesn't stop a trample, it's trample deceleration. If you get a few battalions though, then as one slows, the next couple trample. 5+ battalions of rohirrim don't decelerate.
