Conquering the Ocean as a Penguin in Spore.

The sound of ocean waves and the smell of salt in the Spore filled air. Peter the Pirate Penguin can think of nothing finer. It is his dream to be the captain of his very own pirate ship and it is my job to get him there. As a Spore playing veteran, I have conquered the land many times. I did it with pears, I did it with crabs and I did it with bears. But I have been missing a huge trick!! It turns out 71% of the world is ocean!! Who would've thought?! It is my goal today to conquer the seven seas. I shall own every body of water available too me and I shall do so by making a pirate crew of the world's most adorable and yet powerful animals: penguins.

The Whelks have truly become a memorable antagonist throughout the series. Can't wait until we get to see their origin. I always love a good villain arc.

The sheer gurthy might of the bears, combined with the technological and social genius of the pears would leave the whelks utterly defeated. However, I'm fairly certain that at some point in the Jungle Book Baloo eats some kind of fruit, so the Church of the Holy Fruitbowl would never allow such an alliance. Truly a tragedy.

i love this historis you make, they are just so creative!, even if as sad as it sounds the penguin never came back, but that doesn't mean that the penguin didn't reacherd it's goal, and even after dead, the penguin still exploaring the ocean, as it always wanted to, and for me, that's a good end for the brave penguin

The wish to claim the sea and the sea monster rivalry is giving me flashbacks to the time I got hit by that glitch where, when entering creature stage, your nest is spawned in the water, and if you try to go onto land to actually proceed with the game (because the other species' nests Are still on land), the sea monster will pop out of the ground and get your ass. Anyone else here have that happen? Truly incredible programming from Spore, would expect nothing less.

It doesn't get repetetive like most youtubers because they usually follow the idea "Oh this makes me famous/funny I will do this again every video" so obviously. I'm not saying your videos are different since its like the character intro and the backstory and such, but there is something unique that make them so enjoyable Your videos are packed with something different and so unexpected even if I bingewatch every video I probably won't get bored. Also I noticed you make content of other things, but I'm sure it won't pale in comparison.

I know it’s a way different type of game but you could do amazing stories like this in Rimworld or a similar colony builder if you ever wanted to branch out! It’s such a ridiculous AI the jokes practically write themselves, and the game mechanics themselves are super engaging. :)

I remember back in the day there was a glitch that would cause your nest to spawn in the water. You could swim anywhere you liked, but if you went on land you would be eaten by the sea monster. Unfortunately the game would crash once you tried to enter tribal stage since I guess it couldn’t spawn a tribe underwater, but it made for fun and unique creature stages!

i loved this story it reminded me of one run i did when i was little where one of my creations became an epic creature that i had to defeat in each stage, but the curious thing is that the same species became my allies when i reached the space stage. they were the best weapon smugglers ever because every wmd never passed the million with them so i always had enough money for more weapons

Having played through Spore so many times, this was such an interesting watch. The way you utilised in-game mechanics and just framed them in a way that fits your overall story was masterful. Essentially using all the tools available to you and just telling a believable story based on the footage you're able to capture.

I was half expecting Peter to become obsessed with taking down the sea monster that at space phase he blows up his own planet, killing the monster but losing the ocean he wanted to own
