In this episode I take you to Umling La, world's highest motorable pass at 19024 feet. Umling La Pass, located in the trans Karakoram range of the Himalayas, is the highest motorable pass in the world. It is located at an elevation of 5,798 meters (19,024 ft) and connects the beautiful village of Hanle with Demchok, the last village on Indo-China border. The road to the top of the pass is steep and winding, but the views from the top are absolutely breathtaking. The pass is surrounded by snow-capped peaks, glaciers and high altitude lakes. The drive to the pass is also an adventure in itself, with challenging terrain and unpredictable weather conditions.
