I know that issue where I would ask "where are my teammates" while being mauled by 3 heros, then when I die I see them literally meters away from me watching me die. The problem is this isn't a rare occurrence (literally happens every game). 80% of the time, people would rather watch you die than help you.
It's the worst when you're fighting as Defenders on the wall. And a poleaxe gets you, and you've got teammates within 3 frame distance from you, but they'll still just watch the Poleaxe do It's thing instead of staggering it. I don't care If you're 30% hp, I just need ya to stagger it for 1 second so I can roll out of the perma CC lock.... Or the worst players in the entire game. people who play ranged units, and stand next to them the entire match..... If you're not a Long bow, don't stand next to some ranged units entire match, you're needed at points... Better yet, don't ever play ranged units .-. They do no damage, ya get like 5 unit kills per minute of shooting. Opposed to a cav charge doing 50-100 unit kills in a single charge
Just getting into the game, started about 4-5 days ago and started out with the poleaxe which locked me into heavy armor for the time being so I'm about to swap to the longsword and try it :) seems like a good fit for the way I play. You earned yourself a new sub!
14:21 trying to get bodies on the point. I do that too sometimes. Also the shortbow with 13 kills probably barely took any damage and probably never stepped on a capture point. Shortbow are quite annoying but still hard to get mvp
I know how you feel about sally forth, but I find if you spec long sword differently you can actually deal massive amounts of damage with it, granted it seems more effective versus heros but I've had situations where i can take half the health of several heavy armor heros at the same time(or sometimes outright kill lightly armored heros)
I do not like Sally because the animation is long, is easily interrupted and I'm super vulnerable while carrying it out :/ If you really want heavy armor + damage, any other heavy class puts out better burst than LS, but if you want sustained DoT, LS is ya boi :)
@@KnightStalker the way I do it I feel I have the best of both worlds the sustain of a LS and the high damage and hero killing potential of other classes
Hey knight love your vids just wanted to ask what attributes you are now running after the new buff - do you still go max armour or do you recommend switching it up?
I do full Armor or full Toughness - I'm currently mixing it up, both feel very viable. I'm quite liking the meatball HP build that I haven't done in several seasons now and used to love so I am tilted toward that but I haven't made up my mind yet on which I like more.
Love Azaps haven't got the chance to unlock them yet but as a hired mercenary once and got my highest kills game which is around 330 unit kills they alone got like 140 kills
What I do is I used their charge since they have knockdown and shield lock while moving forward now, and then quickly cover comander to gain extra tankyness for a shortwhile , then do it a gain =))) They are like spartan with shield bash
honestly your first death seems to be me every game, kda players who would rather only use units when they are about to die or it is a free kill on a hero
Hey knight. Can you do video on the land sharks. I used them as a mercenary unit. And the charge is just filthy, and that is without the the completed top line which would make it much better. + It is 10 leadership less than the prefecture pikeman. I was able to trade full health unbraced palace guards for them with charge followed by bleed. Any specific reason for the prefecture pikeman vs land sharks in the video? As always loved the diversity of units in the video.
I generally don't lose many (if any) units as long as I have ranged support. Generally I pull my troops back to recover periodically, should I play more aggressively? I'm new to the game. I currently run a unit of Spears, a unit open at arms, and either pipes or guns as my third choice depending on the map and if I'm attacking or defending.
So the decision to regroup or keep pushing depends on what opportunities you see, and you have about 0.05 seconds to make those choices :) If you see potential for creating gaps, or just plain causing carnage, the pushing on and the loss of your troops may pay off, or it might not. With experience you'll begin to understand how the units interact a lot more and you'll start to understand what you stand to gain or lose from making these decisions. In lower levels of play it's almost always better to retain your units simply because the enemy aren't making smart or objective plays.
Settings are all fully at maximum, I use a venerable GF 1080Ti and have no issues with FPS. Computer itself is late model (last year) i7, 32 ram. It also has shiny lights which is totally the best part
Working on Kriegs and Houndsman at the moment but I do have a few Shenji videos if you want to go back through the catalogue - and will def play them in future, they are certainly strong!
Currently full toughness build because meatball likes the new heal mechanic! Early levels I think armor might be better because light units can't really get through it but up in the tiers deffo toughness
I feel tankier than I used to. I have a bunch into health and armor, so it would be hard to take me down unless you could cc me into the ground and prevent me from using my heal ability.
@@KnightStalker Like, I had a group of 4 heros take multiple minutes out of their time to focus me down. They had me pinned and it took like 2 mins of them swinging to my trapped ass
The answer is it depends. If they are set up as a shield wall or similar, the Keshigs will murder them every single time. In cover commander its a bit different and depends... The stun on the shield guard is not 100% proc rate, its somewhere around the 10% mark at a guess - so these stun strikes can stop a Keshig but if a lot of keshigs charge through you there are enough of them to hurt you badly. When not using the charge, the Keshigs struggle to harm this unit in cover commander, it will still hurt like hell but you are unlikely to suffer a full wipe.
@@KnightStalker i see thanks. Damn, shield wall life is sad. Either you will get run over by keshigs kids users or you'll get bombarded by altilery when setting up wall 😂
@@KnightStalker I see, my friend accidentally found out about this , we are trying to test it out cuz it would be incredible for territory wars. Would love to see if you could try it.
Do not underrstimate the power of peasent pikes! I traded my demesne pikemen and pike militia for khesigs and their hero. 1 time i even killed a maul with my demesnes
@@KnightStalker after watching this particular video I've switched from SS to LS but instead went 50/50 in both armor & toughness. Seems pretty fun for now. Thanks for inspiration! :)
Longsword does what it is supposed to do wich is: support Got healz, stun and can sustain somedamage. I wouldnt want LS to be OP like SS. SS have: slow, speed buff, stun, god mode on, charge, a MG42, a bazooca and sometimes an AC-130.
Lol longbow unit is fantastic I have to disagree it’s the best ranged units in the game bar none. Better than any t5 for sure , how do I know? I kill t5 ranged units with my long bows for breakfast lunch and dinner. Over 2k dmg, 2k ap, and 121 range. Bow down to the mighty long bow
