This historical movie is one of the most beautiful version of conquer of Constantinople I've ever seen. The quality picture, musical background and theatrical scenes of war are magnificent.

This is a real masterpiece! I love this movie. One of the best war movies in my opinion. Christian, Muslim, Greek or Turk, it doesnt matter, the Ottoman Empire was a great and mighty empire, and so was the Byzantine Empire.

Hasan real name is ulubateli hasan. He climbed the wall, under showers of arrows, stones, spears and bullets. He reached the top and he placed the flag, which he defended until his 12 remaining friends arrived. After that he collapsed with 27 arrows still in his body

I cried when Mehmet dig the grave of Abu Ayub Al Ansari. This companion of the Prophet participated in all war together with Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) . Even though he was 80 he participated in the war against Byzantium army but unfortunately he fell ill. " The chief of army staff Yazid ibn Muawiya asked, "Do you need anything, Abu Ayyub?" To which Abu Ayyub replied, "Convey my salaams (Islamic greeting and farewell) to the Muslim armies and tell them, "Abu Ayyub urges you to penetrate deep into enemy territory, as far as you can go; and that you should carry him with you, and that you should bury me under your feet at the walls of Constantinople." At this, he died. Yazid ordered the Muslim army to fulfill his request, and they pushed back the enemy's forces until they reached the walls of Constantinople where Abu Ayyub was finally interred.". 800 years aftee this incident, Sultan Mehmed managed to fullfill the Prophet Muhammad's prophecy that the Muslim army will conquer Constantinople. At age 80, most people will be bedridden but not Abu Ayyub AlAnsari and many Prophet Muhammad companions. Such a quality unmatched by today Muslims.

My younger brother has the same name, muhammad al fatih.. I hope he will be such a great leader too in the future

At 1:02 into the movie, i had an epiphany. "If a strong woman wishes to posses you, you must be worthy enough to be as strong as she, so that you can draw from each others passions, for we are all born crying. and wish to die brave."

Finally there are so many good movies from Turkish Country. Ottoman Empire is finished , but a new empire is on the way.

much better than the other biased documentaries that has a sole purpose of portraying fatih as an evil man and the success of this conquest as a total luck

Nowadays some fathers (not all fathers) don't share their times with their son/s because of their business or anything. As a result, in later life, son/s(not all sons) won't take care of their father though they will have money, property, time. Everything has a reflection.The nature has its own return.

What an awesome of a movie I watched and not moved a single second until it finished. The sultan had morals he conquered the city and let the people feel safe and free to practice their faith he didn’t act like the crusaders and took revenge from what they did to Muslims. Its not about religion its about humanity what this kings has shown. Kings like saladin, mehmet, akabar in India many more has valued other religion people. They had great respect for art culture innovation. In their time many war machines have been invented. Respect every religion because every religion says peace is above everything. Cruelty killing revenge may give satisfaction for time being but peace will always creat place in the heart of millions. God just created the earth but humans made religion fight in that name. The one who feeds us is also God, the one who gives us work is also God. Work is worship.. We have to just work to fulfill the God deeds never fight in the name of religion.. Hope one day everyone understands it.

it was great watching this battles of the empires, i recognised turgut in etrugul and also abdul rehman his only in few scenes. also the old guy who played role in ertugrul aswell is with sultan right hand man. i really enjoyed watching it amazing.

This is a masterpiece and the thing is, that its highly accurate even in its minute details. Alot of other historical series are altered to make one side look good and the other bad or to gather useless sympathy for the victor's side but Mehmed II was every bit as kind and considerate, in addition to having unshakable will power as shown here

the english dubbing sounds like something from a Kung Fu movie, so funny. Yet not disappointing. But I still prefer an original dialogue with english subtitles.

I wish they could have focused more on the Historical details rather than women's cleavages, the Muslim audience would have been more satisfied. This film is not the way I would expect the holy conquest of Constantinople to be portrayed, TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT.

After watching "Rise of Ottoman Empire" on Netflix, it's dead hard to watch this; nevertheless, it, this film, included some pieces of nice information as well. Cheers, Ahmad,
