I applaud Pres Trump for the Pardon to Conrad Black. Conrad Black was caught in the trappings of Corporate culture and now needs to write a new chapter in his life . I wish Conrad Black success in all his endeavours . Great interview with Conrad Black.
I remember when he wined and dined old widows and stole their shares in their husbands’ corporation. I remember when he brought a very successful grocery retail chain to ruins and laid off 75% of the company with the barest of severance pay and then he tried to get his hands on their pension. I was part of the group that fought him and because of our fight a law was passed preventing any company from trying that again. Whatever the federal prosecutors put him through he deserved that and more! He bought his Lordship turning against his country of birth so that he could become an elitist. In other words he’s the perfect person to be in Trumps circle. Birds of a feather stick together!
I wonder if the people making the comments below were paid. Black is a wretched human being. Will Trump use him as his propaganda director since Black was a media mogul.
I served Conrad Black and his 1st wife back in 1988 in Toronto at a restaurant in The Promenade mall. Surprisingly he was very nice and kind and they seemed like normal nice people.
