So I just want to say that I grinded every unit up to lv20 before promotion on one of my playthroughs, and; 1: That was the stupidest thing I've ever done in my life. I spent more time grinding than playing, and neither was fun. 2: Conrad became stupid good. A dreadfighter with infinite move and survivability. Even 1-2 range. Nearly all of his stats were near cap, at least above 30.

Omg this scared me cause I legit thought this one’s about why Mekkah thinks Conrad is bad. I was ready to fight Mekkah on this if he had said anything bad about Conrad.

Where did the joke of calling random zombie encounters Amelia come from?

When I first played valentia I thought conrad was gonna be really cool (I even had this whole theory that berkut was wearing the mask and he was helping celica for some reason) then I got him and never used him once apart from in the final chapter because I had free leftover deployment slots and he did no damage.

I've never understood the inclusion of Conrade. Like, I get that they wanted to give Celica more story, but... Hey, Echoes dev team. You know who else has red hair and a little sister, but also has actually narrative presence and weight? Saber. They should have just made him Celica's secret big brother.

Fun fact: Conrad is voiced by the same man who voices Guts from Berserk.

Man, what a waste of a darned good design. I like that it really leans into the "Holy Knight" angle that the term Paladin typically refers to in other game franchises and whatnot, but it's a shame that the result ended up being ol' Conbad
