The only flaw is no winch key for this type of drum design like the other models

you guys with the old cc8800 should get one anyway, esp if you have the old luffing kit. You can use the old set boom sections to build the max height configuration of over 4m.!

Problem is that the pendants are a different design and incompatible.

Please keep us posted if you ever hear about any sort of boom section kits releases. Those always sell out even faster than the model. Looks to me like if you have a kit with one main and one jib section, you would need around 10 kits to ensure that you have enough of all the sections to make ALL the tallest configurations. At least that was how many i had to get for my LR and LG 1750 and 1600

You must not get it! You need to build a garage for it. A really big garage should work! Union crew will do the assembly.

please let us know ;) I have also ordered the sarens version and 10x boom extensions so i can build the max height for any and all configurations! The extension price is actually very reasonable!

@@mingming9604 Received the crane two weeks ago. The quality is perfect. I've assembled the boombooster part and it is HUGE. I also ordered the extension kit but viewing the size of the boombooster, I am not going to be able assemble the full model because it will not fit in my room.

@@WangBaiTe did you get at least 5 extension kits? i think that is what you need in order to build max height of every possible configuration, including non-boombooster...

the boxes and packaging probably weigh a little over a lb but total shipping weight with outside protective packaging is probably another 1kg plus so shipping weight is probably around 25+kg with the model itself probably around 23kg at max height configuration with the ballast carrier?

Many days to build the model in different configs. And it is much slower when filming video and taking photos at the same time.

You do realize that if you want to put it on your desk, you would need a room with 4m+ ceiling right? lol...

what do you mean by full jib? As in a full length maximum length jib? no, there is only enough jib parts included to build a jib that is about 40% of the max real life jib. And sadly there is currently no addon section kits for the jib. I think there is enough sections to build a max boombooster main boom length

Yes. Probably.

it's to help with jacking up the turntable so other cranes can lift the tracks to join with the turntable. The tracks go on the turntable immediately at the beginning. It's not like other smaller crane assembly where the cab, boom, A frame get put on before the crane then use the lift cylinder on the a frame or use the back mast to lift the track for self assembly. And beyond just the turntable if you also have the cab and carbody and A frame, it would be probably too heavy for the jacks.
