Outstanding work tutorial commentary! Phenomenal prototypical achievement. Have you ever used Deco Art Extreme Sheen? I apply it with sharp palm needles to mimic down to the metal etched scratches on the rim and chutes. Oh by the way I really like how you coolly cut & apply the decals Great vid thanks for the post and sharing.
Keep an eye on Ebay. Generally the Kato ones come up every month or two for around $100 DC/ DCC ready. The Athearn Genesis ones come up for sale as well but are in the $200 to $300 range depending on if they are DCC Ready or DCC and sound.

@@ConrailSteve i wish ScaleTrains would produce a set! I don't know if i have the desire to scratch build them now but i would definitely order them if they were on the market. and despite them being basically boring gray, i like them because they're different. just like the CSX orange MOW locos. you definitely have a great fleet of Conrail equipment!
Wish I would have seen these before I did the builds to be able to check them out. Only issue ive had is that the CMR decals always tend to be a little oversized. Also great profile picture, Sonic Brew and Stronger Than Death are still two of my favorite albums!
