It's funny to think that I re-crew and pickup crews here on a daily basis when they outlaw. This location is called Palmetic and now you need a swithman's key to even get down to this location. Thanks for the posting this great video
those were the days. i remember them well. back then , well before all the mega-mergers there was variety. for instance, you could go to chicago, see a headlight coming and have no idea what is on its way. i have not photoed in over 20 years now, just no interest, maybe i will go to some of the locations from the 1970s and recreate the photos. i know a guy who is 86 years old. he stopped photoing trains(more or less)when B&O quit running their F7s,FP7s, that was about 1974!
From what I understand 6000csx, that it is off limits, posted and patroled by CSX. If its anything like what they did up on Sand Patch now, they have new cops hired, and they are handing out hefty fines, and then your in their data base... Maybe some others can shed some light on the location. Thanks for watching...
