I used to be a young Tory, few years ago. When I met other young tories, they, by and large, either had parents who were wealthy to a point where income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax was a major issue for them, or they were closet racists. Some Tories are very normal and just supporting the party that strongly supports their financial interests, and the rest are indeed a bit strange.

The young gentleman at 0:49 spoke very accurate about the conservative party and has huge self reflection in how the party operates for a long time. The party has lot the plot for a long time and say very outlandish and irresponsible soundbites with extreme negative consequences. Its young conservatives like him that understand the new leeway that needs to be followed. By the way that South Asian lady is delusional with ''we' are the best country in the world' its nice comment. But i personally have heard many ''British traditionalist conservatives on the extrem right side'' say how the UK is lost with a Indian prime minister and how our former ''colony is colonizing'' us. Refering to increasing Indian and South Asian population in the UK. Hope she is aware of this dynamic in the party.
