Conserving an 18th century harp 

This 18th century harp has recently undergone treatment in the Royal Collection conservation studios.
Our conservators cleaned and gilded the painted sound board, consolidated the surfaces, completed wood repairs and finally restrung it.
It is now back on display in the King’s Ante-Chamber at the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
