You gotta leave something in the gym to come back to. Most people go super hard for two weeks, get burned out, and quit. Start off slow and slowly build it up. Even if you feel like doing more at the gym at the beginning, don’t. Leave a little bit there to come back to. Eventually when you show up consistently for months or years, then you can truly test your ability to push your limits. It’s a long game.
Agreed. Occasionally you might need to test your limits just to show yourself you’re capable. That’s not the recipe every time though. Get in there explore, learn, grow.
