This very young, talented participant, Vaidehi Balasubramaniam, a student of Vainika Vidushi Dr. R.S Jayalakshmi, impressed the judges with her playing of this kriti in the raga Vachaspati - Paraatpara, by Papanasam Sivan.
The difference in points was so small that she was awarded a consolation prize this time. Congratulations to Vaidehi and her guru, Dr R S Jayalakshmi.
