@Geno_Sinatra I honestly agree both consoles were great to their degrees and both had some great features. The Xbox One was bad at the beginning due to poor marketing and bad features but got way better as time went on. The PS4 was great at the beginning but the end is where it started going to shit.
@@thebadtakesguy4215 Sony made and advertised the PS4 purely as a gaming system, while Microsoft advertised the Xbox One as ab all-in-one entertainment system with Netflix, voice controls and things like that. And the PS4 was more powerful, it was smaller and it had way more games than the Xbox One.

I heard the NES controller was uncomfortable to hold for long sessions because of its rectangular design, hence why caveman Spongebob and Patrick passed a jellyfish around in pain.
I never played the orginal NES. But I think it's portrayal here is accurate, because from what I understand those games were hard as hell and felt like you were torturing yourself by playing them
Instead of modern games where you explore gigantic complex worlds and collect 50,000 things, NES games basically kicked your ass about 200 times till you finally learned the pattern and beat the game start to finish in under an hour. Contra and Punchout are 2 such examples
also spongebob and patrick passing the jellyfish was exactly like how 2 player mode worked in nes (most of the time) if player 1 dies, its player 2 turn, and vice versa

I would know after a while Ps4 (1st gen) Hardware issues, legit almost blew up the fan, bought a slim next. Ps4 (any) unplugging in rest mode might force you to format your console, even in power outages (happened to me twice) Pc: Corrupt files causing you to reinstall the entire game. Switch: Joycons. What more do i need to say. *Controllers* Xbox one: First gen didn't have bluetooth or headphone jack. Ps4: Rechargeable internal batteries wear out after a year, and with no third party or wired controllers you must buy another 40$ controller (plus bad grip design) Switch: Joycons Pc: Trust me you wont just buy one keyboard. *Exclusives* Ps4: Multiplayer sucked ass Xbox one: Single player sucked ass Switch: you can't complain, they are the classics. They were pretty accurate about the Xbox one 2013 was the greatest year for gaming but Xbox and Microsoft in general were behind once Sony, Nintendo and Apple teamed up they had no chance
I feel like there was a lack in Nintendo consoles for being such an iconic console company that actually saved the gaming industry with the release of the NES and it felt like it was mainly Xbox vs PlayStation even though in terms of sales the PlayStation beats the Xbox and in terms of exclusives. And PlayStation’s rival is Nintendo.
