From the beginning they had the hypothesis that Jay Slater must have suffered an accident, the problem is that finding him in that rugged territory is the same as finding a needle in a haystack. I'm sorry but no matter how mashed you are I don't know a single human being travelling from the club & where your friends are and the place your staying at is 50 mins away to go to sleep for a couple hours and then think you can walk the 50 minute CAR journey back, after knowing a bus is coming soon and being offered a lift.. it just doesn't happen.. how are people just buying this story?? I've never known a single person that would think for a SECOND they can walk a 50 minute car journey.. let alone in a foreign country on your last day of the holiday... there is something seriously off with all this and I fear that just because his body was found we will never know the actual truth of what happened to that young lad! Yeah, I've done it. Not mashed. Just underestimated the distance and climate. I knew not to leave the road and I was able to run into the sea when I got dangerously hot. It is not the leap everyone claims. If he had no hillwalking experience, he wouldn't have known how bad the conditions would get.
Yea as a hiker I would choose to walk more than 50 min car ride if the transportation wasn't gonna come soon. One thing people are not considering is "what if he thought the bus is coming in10hrs when the lady showed him 10 finger"??? Putting myself in his shoes, If I thought she meant 10hrs (instead of 10am) & the walk would take me 11hrs, I would definitely have started walking. It is a comlpete cover up. I don't care. I'm saying it. So many things left unsaid, the watch!! That's been dismissed. Videos, no phones were taking off people to collaborate anything. He dropped his phone and then walked to his death. Why didn't his friends help him get back, and why leave and not get or wait for a lift from or refuse one as apparently was said, from the beginning the police were making mistakes, refused help from British police. He was put there, did not fall or slip his friends know exactly what happened. My heart is sad because of this, I truly hope it now gets looked into the way it should have from the beginning. Hope he is at peace now, knowing he is going home soon and to be reunited with his family. 🙏❤️
That is not true, they didn’t refuse. Stop blaming authorities that tried their best to look for him, you always like to blame other countries for anything! How British police could help in that situation? If you see the searchers in that terrain, they appear like tiny ants. How can anyone question why it took so long? I don't think it took long at all, because many are never found. Jay was found, and now his parents can put him to rest. I wish there was more news about appreciation towards the searchers and all the resources provided in finding Jay. I think many volunteers and locals offered their expertise and efforts into this search. I have been to the island to visit my family and roots, and the locals don't go wondering in there without a guide, and those that do are hiker and rock climbing enthusiasts and professionals. Jay made a terrible decision to go in that terrain. He was possibly high, tired, dehydrated, and made poor choices. If there was foul play, I hope those responsible are brought to justice, but sometimes it is what is obvious....Jay fell to his death trying to find a shortcut back to the beach.
If the body was fount not so far from where his last location how did the helicopter not see him beforehand it’s not adding up they would have saw his body . Unless someone put him there ???
The combination of social media and stupidity never fails to depress me. All the evidence pointed to a straightforward tragedy, lad decides to hike across dangerous country with no equipment and no idea what he is doing, slips, falls, dies. All the keyboard Poirots surmise “Moroccan Mafia”, “Murderous Mates”, “Lord Lucan style midnight flit with a yacht waiting off the coast”… it’s depressing and dull, and hurtful to those that he left behind. Thank you to the Spanish authorities, who must be sick to the back teeth of dealing with the lunacy.

I could not agree more. It's depressing that every single piece of news seems to have some sort of conspiracy theory attached to it. Within minutes of Trump being shot the other day, I saw so many comments saying "false flag". They say it with confidence as if they actually know something. Then they say the "Mainstream Media" won't report on this, then start calling people "sheep". If any of these stories were true the so called "mainstream media" would be all over them. The problem is, people fill gaps in knowledge with any old nonsense. To get those people to see how ridiculous it is, you have to give them all of the knowledge you have, to get them to point X. I you can't just go straight to X and expect them to accept X, as they are missing all of your data points abcd etc. It's like telling them about a missing element without them knowing about the periodic table.

I think it because of his criminal background. You got conspriacy theories around Micheal Mosley and Nicola Bulley disappearences but really there was absolutely nothing to hang these on. In this case you had his mates talking about stolen a Rolex etc, one of the guys at the air B&B has a major sentence for drug suggling. I sure he just fell into the ravine but the case is slightly merky, it is less clear. Whether it is right or not people love a good mystery, and this case had that element of doubt. Not sure its moral to find fascination in the death of a young person but people do.

No the police fave been very inconpastionate if the family's feelings mostly throughout this case even saying he's probably safe when they knew he was thirsty alone desolate and tired they even said he may not be missing when he damn right definitely was they were right in the spot but yet never saved him by going out there and also they didn't do a full enquiry to the men leaving the festival with Jay some mates watching him leave with two strange men bit known to Jay Shane in you friends ha??? And it said that this young lady got in a car with these two men do why didn't they take him straight to were GE needed to get home????? But yet the police said there not significant of course they were from the Ed minute they walked of with Jay to egg police never guy investigated these two do called British men???
