They say 6 people, those 6 people are constantly running around from one thing to another for 10 hours straight. I would argue they do the workload of 15 people and are working multiple departments and several roles in the same day. Its acceptable to automate, but then firing your entire staff and leaving a skeleton crew in its place is unfair and possibly illegal.
Why would a factory in Mexico need to fully automate with virtually no human workers when labor is very cheap, no defined pensions to fund and few benefits provided to employees? I can understand this occurring in Europe, U.S., Canada, Japan were labor is expensive but Mexico!
David B Mexico may bring other advantages than cheaper labor. smaller taxes, fewer regulations and yes the cost of capital needed to build the automated plant in the first place ?

Robots don't grow on trees, how about the workforce in the global supply chain needed to make the robots? Ultimately that is what you are paying for when buying an expensive robot - all the labor that went into making it.
Pues técnicamente si genera mucho trabajo, simplemente para la pura construcción son miles de subcontratistas. Varias compañías llevan muchos años trabajando en la expansión. Aparte de eso grupo modelo tienen miles de trabajadores directamente contratados por la empresa para ser operadores de línea y las máquinas

Para las obras de construcción está de más decir que se contrata mano de obra muy barata y esa se consigue en el sur, -migrantes- sin seguro de vida, y esos goses. La empresa quiere instalarse en BC porque aquí no hay problema si le quitas medio territorio a un pueblo, y la mitad del agua si a cambio darás empleo, y sorpresa ni si quiera darán empleos. En EEUU no se instalan por el daño ambiental que saben que provocará una construcción así. No necesitamos más cerveza, queremos agua y que las empresas sean totalmente sustentables. Y CB no cumplía con eso.
Los trabajados ya son mas especializados, fácilmente necesitas personal tecnico para dar mantto a todos esos robots, bandas transportadoras(motores/transmision), a los paletizados, a los paneles electricos/control, etc por lo tanto necesitas repuestos que son creados por otras empresas en otra fabrica. Sin mencionar el departamento de ingenieria que crea/modifica los programas del PLC o crea los HMI para las maquinas. Lo cierto es que ya los trabajos manuales estan desapareciendo y tiene sentido, pero ala vez se cran trabajos mas especializados. Tambien generan empleo en este caso, le compran el vidrio para las botellas, le compran a otra empresa la taparrosca sin mencionar que compran la levadura a los agricultores , es decir no se genera tantos empleos directos pero los indirectos son los que generan mas gracias a ellos y esto ocurre n todas las industrias
@@trejo656 Si, ya estamos en el 2020 y el trabajo especializado existe desde hace unos años, en dónde consiguen mano de obra súper barata que solo necesitas tocar un botón para que todo funcione. Que seguramente la conseguirán con migrantes y no con las personas que habitan en esa zona, lo cuál es el punto de que se construya esa empresa ahí. En cuanto a las importaciones de productos pues si es claro, en todo caso funciona para cualquier industria, por qué no que sea una industria completamente nacional? Y no un monopolio que se dedica a hacer desaparecer los pequeños negocios. Igual, no creo que esas utilidades las compre en México 😂 ya que la finalidad es la fuga del capital.

Tu lo dices con un boton hace que se funcione, pero como se llega a eso, no se hace eso con magia, si no con la base tecnica e ingenieria que la misma empresa contrata en su departamento de ingeniería. Y vuelvo a lo mismo se pierde el trabajo manual pero se gana en el trabajo mas tecnico, necesitas personas para dar mantto a estas maquinas, necesitas a un ing. para realizar los planes de mantto, cuando ocurre un problema con PLC o con un variador necesitas alguien que sepa de eso, es decir necesitas gente capacitada no una persona que nada mas tiene la primaria. Muchas de las materias primas son nacionales incluso las ya manufacturadas, es decir mas empleo indirecto, incluso mucha tecnologia se hace aqui en mexico desde un tornillo hasta brazos robots , pero bueno tu razonamiento me da entender que no sabes como funciona nada de la industria y te guias por gritos populistas.Vivimos en una economia de mercado donde hay libre competencia si no te adaptas es tu problema de fracasar.
