I don’t think she’s crazy and I think its wayyyyy too soon to decide she is. One of my biggest pet peeve’s that I see with literally any tv show where wild things happen to characters is that people completely fail to understand that psychosis involves a collection of symptoms beyond just experiencing hallucinations. For example, other symptoms include acute insomnia, mood swings, word salad, delusions, impulsivity, stuff like that. If someone isn’t also experiencing some combo of what I’ve listed along with hallucinations, then writing off what they are experiencing by attributing it to mental illness is probably not the best move to make, especially when the show is obviously striving to be realistic.

That part when he threw the guy off the boat was very important information. Like Jo he was also swapped into the relatity that is not his own and he told him the truth about him and the world he finds himself in before he threw him off. He told him he fixed everything on Apollo 18 and they all went to the moon and where coming back alive. He found himself in a situation where they where alive next to him then the next moment they where both dead. He blames his alternate Henry Caldera who is the scientist we see in the other reality which should have been in the reality he is trapped in. Where instead of being a hero is remembered for coming back with 2 dead astronauts. Its also why on that interview when Jo was trying come back she closed off interview with he was pissed off saying the name is Bud and not Henry. So we can safely say Jo we are following is the world where Henry is there which should have been buds world and of course cheating Jo. And like Bud and Henry that seem to be able to talk with one another I wonder if we will get to meet the other Jo in a similar way. What I'm not 100% sure about is I'm pretty sure that Irena is the dead astronaut hence the what he was pressuring Irena to get the device back for her him and his brother (which I think he meant bud) and why Irena when talking about what happens when she dies she has no idea where she will go. You just would think Jo would no known who Irena was in this connection unless its like the piano and she carrys slightly both memoeires at the same time. (but I'm a little confused on this point)

I don't know if anyone already find it but the Alice here 1:06 and the Alice here 1:08 are from two different multiverses due their clothes. That's why Jo in 8th episode said that she don't know what CAL is. It's because she is no more the same Jo after Bud broke the CAL machine but she's a Jo from another multiverse, just like Paul after the awakening. Agree?

You said “bud” was on Apollo 8. He actually said Apollo 18, which never happened in our actual time line. We stopped at 17.

The 2 things at the Sametime theory is called the " Wave Particle theory. When matter is being observed it's a Particle but once it's not being observed it's everywhere at once. Observation gives its a location.

Yes, I believe that the CAL tube is the catalyst for the extreme instances of super position throughout this show. I figured it was causing her visions on the ISS (which were not actually visions but her) Its crazy that apple tv has this show and DARK MATTER as they both deal with the same exact theory on quantum mechanics.

As fo proof about parallel universes: did you miss the dinner where they allude to the Mandela effect, as the husband says "I remember who he WAS"?

I've never watched a review where the reviewer not only got everything wrong, but did it with arrogant comments. You should probably leave this show to someone else

I think Bud & Henry are actually just twin brothers from the same reality. Both long careers with NASA now in respective “Chief” roles with one a former astronaut, most likely Chief astronaut and other a former astrophysicist and now Mission Control Chief. Hence, TV correspondent confusing the two. Think one even regretfully says they have to call his “brother”. Convinced of this bc I remember watching an interview with the former real life US Commander of the ISS and learning that not only does he spend his retirement as a consultant for studios on their space movies, like the recent film,”ISS”, but he worked heavily on this show!…..AND he happens to have a twin brother who was also an astronaut!!

Let me some up the premise. Have you ever left your coffee cup on your desk got up to do something then come back to find your coffee cup in a different location or position. You swear you left your coffee cup on your desk. What is happening is that the coffee cup is in a state of superposition (both places at the same time) and will only be in a single position once you observe it.

This show suffers from the a common apple tv show problem: extending scenes way too long with completely useless shots. Like we're shown a scene where a kid needs to see something, react, move on. Instead the kid will start off coloring then remember a time years ago she fought with a friend, then kid sees thing, kid runs and hides for extended time, etc etc etc.

I think: that body that made the hole, it's hers... She died on that walk. It was her dead body And BTW: who are you and what have you done to our Nocturnal Critic!?

It'll be a cold day in a quantum glowing tube before I watch any more beyond the two-minute point of episode two where I turned off. Searched for a spoiler review and agree it looks like alternate quantum realities not character mental illness. Written short-story sci-fi was doing this plot better 30 years ago. Lazy chaotic writing and good actors wasted. I'd rather re-watch MotA, Silo, Morning Show, For All Mankind or KotFM on Apple than this convoluted mess to a.predictable quantum end.
