Well done Umek. I find your contents very informative. I have just one question. Why is in-built garage not popular in Nigeria unlike western world? I planning to build in Nigeria but every body seems to be against inbuilt garage.

Some people still do it, I think it is all about choice… some of our projects still have an inbuilt garage… which I think makes sense to protect the car against hash conditions of weather

Great job Umek , how many columns are required in a 4 bedroom duplex, cause this particular one you're building is 5 bedroom duplex. Also, how much is the cost of drilling a bore hole. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Thanks you, the number of columns are determined by the structural engineer after doing certain calculations based on the design and size of the building, for borehole, it varies from place to place and could range from 150,000 to 2,000,000 depending on the depth there would have to drill before the get water… this has to be determined by a soil test/analysis report…

Sorry we cannot estimate with this because the sizes of projects vary... however 100 lengths of 12mm rods can not do an average 6 bedroom duplex...
