Consumer vs. Producer Mindset (which one are you?) 

As a society and modern culture, we are addicted to consumption & instant gratification. Smartphones are little miracle machines that have brought great joy, progress and value to our hyper-connected world.
But the hours we spend glued to our screens are also destroying us, our focus, our productivity and our creativity (not to mention the negative affect it has on our children).
Today's culture rewards the consumer (or so we think) with the "high" that comes along with checking that notification, binge watching videos, instant messaging, social media and more.
Consume, consume, consume.
But what would happen if we traded those hours we waste feeding our addiction for making something? Creating? Building? Learning?
