You’re sort of close but what actually happened is Tofi was a stray dog that got hit by a car and Apollo brought him back to life because he’s like some magical snake that can hypnotize dead animals and bring them back to life. The reason Tofi doesn’t have a head is because when he got hit by a car his head was mostly damaged and when Apollo brings dead animals to life the most damaged part of them disappears. For example, if a cat died with a broken leg and Apollo hypnotized them they’d come back missing their leg that used to be broken. I’m not quite sure what lore this is it’s just something I kind of made up along the way ig 😭 and TYSMM💖💖💗

Apollo only has control of Tofi’s body :] the reason Tofi doesn’t have a head is because he was hit by a car and the most damaged part of him was his head (when Apollo controls an animal that has passed the most damaged part of their body disappears) for example, if a cat had broken its leg before they passed if Apollo took control of their body their leg would disappear :)) Hope that makes sense 😭
