Thank you for making it so easy to skip the ad. I deplore advertising - huge turn off - and also respect the need to make money. Your sensitivity to those of us (many tiny homers) with those feelings is very thoughtful and appreciated. You CAN have the best of both worlds.
Thank you for the add. It's so nice to know that there are people like you that do care🙏God bless you always🙏 In every 5 people, 3 among them suffers from mental health. Whether they themselves have mental health problems or living with someone that has. Unfortunately, most people are not aware.
@John James there’s actually 2 ways: the fast forward feature or by tapping/selecting the next video chapter…you might not like the ad but hopefully it we’ll help others in need of talking to someone. Also video sponsors help pay for video production expenses so we can do what we do, and provide free videos on YT.
@John James we asked subscribers about doing a membership and the majority of who responded said no and many suggested sponsored ads instead… but anyway, happy trails
What an absolute champion this woman is! I don't know her personally, but I am so immensely proud of how far she's gotten in her healing process. I'm a survivor too, so I can appreciate how terrifying even the simplest, most natural things are, like sleeping at night. May she continue to heal and feel more secure, comfort and ease everyday in her beautiful, well designed, tiny house! xoxo
What a great life change for this woman, I wish her many happy years living in her lovely personalized tiny home that has given her back her sense of security and safety, and peace of mind!
I THIRD that! I really admire your resilience and strength, Sally! I loved your artwork and positive sayings throughout your Home. I wish you much happiness, security and peace. Sending positive vibes & energy your way. 💫
Thank you for sharing such an intimate part of your past. Having been in a shelter for battered women-when I was 21 (a LONG time ago)-this takes MEGA courage to speak about out loud. Most don’t realize what it takes to say your experiences and fears, to actually SAY them, let alone to strangers. Thank you. You’ve no doubt encouraged MANY that they too can move forward, at their own pace, but move forward, they can.
@@Msfunnygirlygirl After watching this, I'm a new subscriber to your channel! Love the Haight/Ashbury throw & other artwork! Cheers from Sandy from San Francisco!
Wow this lady is so inspiring. Love her “live-life-on-my-own-terms attitude. She is BADASS and a true survivor. I really enjoyed this episode. Wishing her all the very best- BEAUTIFUL HOME!
Most inspiring story...Loved her tiny home container that looks more like an Art gallery...She is a butterfly, indeed!...BEST WISHES to her in her journey☺
When she said though I had a 3 bedroom house I was already living tiny utilizing just the bathroom bedroom and kitchen. Made me realize we are living tiny in our 3 bedroom house. This woman is not just a survivor she is a warrior Yah bless her
I just recently downsized. Not to a container home, but to a condo from a large 3 bedroom home. I literally got rid of 90% of my stuff! The move was a challenge and organizing all my things took a few months. I even got rid of more things after I moved in! But, the peace and tranquility, the decrease of upkeep, financial output and maintenance from my larger home has been so worth it. Kudos to this lovely lady and to all who have or have been contemplating living in a smaller space. Be brave! With some thoughtful planning, you can make it work. 😊
Dang, I LOVE THIS LADY! I'm so sorry for the trauma you have endured and applaud you for the hard task of healing you're working at. So many of us have suffered the trauma of violence. You're not letting it define you and you're living and thriving. Only getting better! I want to do what you're doing and hope i can make it a reality. That home you've made for yourself is STUNNING! Lady is a maximalist in the most beautiful, artful of ways! Thanks for showing us your true colors! ❤️😍😘🥰
I could have watched her all day. What a brave and inspirational woman. I am so so happy she has found her place of peace and “hugs”. I wish all the great things of this life be hers. ✨🦋🦋🦋
Oh my gosh. I love you!!! You are in a beautiful place for sure. I used to be your neighbor on Mt Potosi!!! It is beautiful there. I too am a 14 year survivor working through things you never imagine takes time to work through. I’m dreaming for the day I have my tiny house!!! Good for you. Sooo beautiful and happy. Thank you for sharing. People will be healed because of you!!!🏡💜🐛🦋💚🏡
Thank you so much for posting this video, it is so inspiring. I am a senior I lost my home in the downturn around 2006, and I found a 500 square foot house for almost no money. I never thought I could live in a house that small, but after 10 years I am happy here. You have a beautiful home. Be Blessed.
I understand that aftermath of violent invasion and violation. Your space is fun and functional with personal style. It speaks to me. Blessings of peace, comfort and JOY. May Grace restore your capacity to trust .
This lady is so brave and even with her gradually conquering her fears, she has a sweet and affordable place of her own to live the rest of her days in happiness. That’s more than most people can say at her stage in life! Congratulations you powerful and smart woman! You are an inspiration towards all women! 👏🏼💪🏻🎉
I heard a lot of "I love!" words when you were describing your tiny home and your possessions that surround you,Molly! I'm so glad you found peace and security in your new and beautiful home! Happiness is in what you do and love! Your family can also come and be right next door on their own without infringing on your space! Perfect! If I was on my own, I'd give your "Tiny way of life!" some serious thought! You are certainly a brave lady who deserves to be happy! Cheers Sandy from Canada!
This woman has been through a lot. I admire her openness & understand her desire for security and safety. I love the deck, ladder and roof deck in her home. It's good to see someone who's not the usual young, mobile, whole-life-ahead-of-her tiny home type.
I love, love this tiny home!! From the upper deck, inside her home! The art, decor, colors, all of it us just amazing!! Its so warm and welcoming! She's a very cool lady, very grounded, and very chill. And it's so great that she's so happy in her home!! I could live there with no problem! 😊✌️
Your home shows your personality well ❤ It's not easy sharing difficult personal experiences. Thank you for sharing yours. Security is so important to those of us who have lived through similar things. Wishing you many years of bliss in your retirement xo
I'm in Sally's position. I retire in about four months and have no debt but my income will be small because I have no pension. Thanks for sharing your home.
The best tiny home video I've ever seen! It's so nice to know this beautiful space has helped in her healing. She's such a beautiful woman and I admire her immensely. Thank you for sharing her home and her story!
What an amazing woman you are!! Your home is lovely, and I can understand the need to retreat to a totally safe space. You are such an inspiration and i wish you so much joy and freedom in your life.
A warrior whom possesses such a beautiful spirit! Her children and grandchildren are blessed to have her! I also adore her taste of decor-such an inspiration!
I like the choice of railing on the upper deck. It is taller than most, and allows a nice view, without a top rail obstruction. I think my tiny house would look a lot like this. Wonderful Lady.
It takes so much to summon up courage when trauma steals your life and joy. Thank you Sally for your courage to find a way and then sharing such a deeply personal experience and your accomplishment. I wish you peace, joy and congratulations for taking your life back. You are a hero and an inspiration 💝💪
This lady's tiny house fully reflects her! Her entry deck and rooftop deck add so much living space. Lovely to know that there is help out there for people who want to live tiny.
Absolutely fell in love with Sally! I love love love her house and the way she decorated it was so cute! Really enjoyed this one. I am happy for her that she’s able to live her best life in peace. Thank you so much. From me out in California💜😘🤗🇺🇸😎
I am thrilled by this lady! Thank God we didn't have to listen to a young couple of kids telling what all we should believe in and act like. This lady knows, she's lived it. God luck to her and may she continue to grow.
What a beautiful home and inspiring story! I was very moved by Sally's sharing of her entire story, and how she had to overcome many levels of obstacles, fears, adjustments, and financial hurdles to get to where she is now. Bravo to her! May she continue to feel more and more safe and secure in her new home and community. Blessings to her 🙏☮🌟
Thank you SO MUCH for featuring this woman’s story and for finding (& filming/editing) a person who’s found the deep liberation that can come from alternative living with so many of us living “altered lives” and lifestyles! Love! Love! Love this one!
Dear Tiny homer- Thank you for sharing your story you are so brave. I wish you time to heal. From my trauma I believe this to be true "out of bad comes good". Such as the need to feel safe you had reason to move and build your tiny home. May this path take you where you need to be to have an amazing life.
This video is incredible in so many ways! The home owner is a queen, and I loved everything about her. Yes to wearing those butterfly wings! But also, I literally welled up in tears 3 times bc I want a container RV or cabin, and she expressed so many things I feel when I dream about that project. Tell her thank you, and that I love her. Ok fine, I’m crying, but happy tears about dreams for my own container.
You Sistergirl are bloody wonderful. I too am a survivor & the idea of living in such a SAFE colourful, custom built oasis is breathtakingly heart warmingly beautiful & it truly sooths my soul. I love your door latch so you can't get locked in, clever. Love your roof top pool & Deco table. Love your decking for cuppa'o'clock with a book. Love your whole home in truth & a shower that must sound like rain on a tin roof LOVE, & Sally that you now sleep in the dark, well, that part made me cry. I'm not there yet, but it's a goal. Congratulations. Live well & with Joy & Strength. I'm bookmarking your tour & will watch you on days when I need inspiration. Blessings & thanQ for speaking your truth darl's xoxo I really admire you xoxo
Oh my goodness when you said Delco and your mom used to work on transistors it reminded me of my mom who worked there and did the same thing! Then you said Kokomo! Yes! That’s where we were from too! God bless you! It’s a small world!
Love your container home on wheels with its Peace & Freedom symbols, posters,; roof deck and front deck too. It has a lot of lovely touchstones from your life and looks so cozy, safe, and wonderful to check out the Nevada sunrises and sunsets. Thanks for sharing. Jenny
Absolutely loved this vlog. I appreciate her laying it out there, telling her truth. Being in her age group, have some the same issues myself, transitioning to semi-retirement life is kinda of scary. Thank you so much for featuring this!
Bless you Sally! I love your home and I hope you find total healing from your trauma. Have you tried EMDR therapy? It helped me tremendously to move past a sexual assault when I was young that was still haunting me 30+ years later. Now I can talk about it and even think about it without much emotion. Prior to that, it felt like it was happening to me over and over again. Best of luck to you in your gorgeous tiny home!
Sally what a COURAGEOUS soul you are! Thank you for sharing your story with all of us. You have made me feel proud, inspired and hopeful about human kind. I pray for MANY MANY MORE blessings for you in this life.
Sally is joy and inspiration to us all. She has made this her home which is absolutely beautiful. Really enjoyed this video and her presentation of the many aspects of her home. Best wishes to her.
Sally is so inspiring. If I lived closer, I'd absolutely love to have dinner on her roof and watch the sunset. It made me smile to see her metal Viet Nam bracelet - I have one, too. Many thanks for the tip about Liberty Bank. And my very favorite moment, "if you want to be a butterfly, you have to put this on." Best wishes for a continuing life feeling safe and happy.
At 80 I will soon be moving to a studio Apt above my son’s carriage house. My rent has gone way up since Covid. What I admire about this lady is how she has kept her favorite things esp her artwork. Most of the furniture in my two bedroom Apt is already been given away. The studio has dormers so very little wall space. What I have is art work. My place was like a gallery without room for another painting.her wall is fantastic. What I have is a two staircase open with full walls. Thank you for inspiring me. Enjoy your home. It is so you.
I think this is my favorite video and I've been binge watching all of the episodes! Sally is so amazing and her story brought me to tears! She is so strong and an inspiring woman! When she talked about feeling safe in your own home and being surrounded by the things you love, taking them out of boxes, that really made me cry. I've been transient since 2011, floating from one place to another because of my job or my husband's job, and I just long to be reunited with my life belongings that are in boxes held in a storage unit. I love that she's held onto her favorite momentos for decades, I'm the same way! I definitely want to get a tiny home and decorate it with all my favorite books and momentos since childhood just like Sally! :) I wish Sally the best and long, healthy life ahead!
This is the best tiny home I have ever seen. She did a wonderful job on the design and and decorating with her art. With this house there's nothing I would change. I love it.
Such an admirable woman...the colours and art in her home show how alive, modern and open minded she is. She inspired me to read more about Ruth Ginsburg 💜
What a beautiful inspirational lady. Glad you have found the peace you so deserve. Thank you for sharing your story and letting us into your container home, I out of all the videos have enjoyed your tour the most, your use of space, love the murphy bed when you can close it out of the way without having to strip it and remake it daily. I could go on what I love about it, so I'll watch it again. Sending you much peace and happiness 😊
She's my hero !! She has been through so much but she has achieved so much. I love everything about her tiny home and where she lives. She has inspired me to make decisions and changes ✅✅
Thank you for sharing with us, Sally! You have such a beautiful heart! Your personality and love are written all over your home, inside and out. May God bless you and put his mighty angels all around you, and His peace, protection, joy, and everlasting love be with you always.
