Very profesional job, as usual by Fridenson Co. I know very well some of the guys who work at this land transport company, called Fridenson in Israel. They provide very good service all over Israel, and are centerd at Haifa port and Ashdod port. We have worked with a specialized team at Fridenson Co. for heavy lifting of industrial machinery, those guys are realy top notch profesional for the realy complex and difficult machinery. Nice to see them on RU-vid.
awesome than u sir! glad one of us knows what were talking about. i knew it looked foreign (along with some of the design characteristics of that container chassis) but couldnt put my finger on it. all i know is in over 200k miles i cannot recall seeing one rig like that on us interstate.
Nice crane work. Weight of this lift should be 10-11 tonn and crane should be a 90-100 Tm class crane. If I was to do this lift , I would like to have something to catch it with as it tip over center of gravity. But it is a nice work of the crane operator. Stay safe out there !
Volvo's rule... I'm from Australia and we operate stevedoring and logistic company in East Timor... End of the WORLD... We run FM/FH 12's @380/420 HP single drives and deliver containers on remote mountain roads that not even your own mothers would drive on......
Its not really possible, because the locks that hold it to the bed swing outward for safety reasons, so you can see when there locked or not when you walk round, so you cant unlock the side on the ground if you get me, hope i explained that ok.
@Steebod sorry i may of been drunk at the time, but yes understand the crates being checked for weight, my conscern was to the size of the crane it's mechanicle abilities is geared to lifting 1/4 the trailer load at a job site, mabye even more but not to lift the entire 50klb trailer, as far as guessing the use of a crane mounted after the cab on a truck would be to lift a big ac unit or such up to a roof top?
The right way isn't the fast way. I've done alot of "wrong" lifting just for that reason. Perhaps the crane operator in this vid is smart, but the trailer owner don't care about the trailer and just gives the order to lift the heap of crap back up on its wheels. As long as everybody involved is happy and it's a safe lift...
dont care about the outriggers that crane is just too small for the job i'm glad i wasn't part of that i'm not a crane size specialist just history of metal fabrication and knowing how much weight those can legally hold let alone what they will load it up to. Justin.
Well soo much for the landing gears all bent and useless, they could haveensured the front end was lifted a bit higher during the entire lift then lower the unit straight down on the landing gears.
@jason7456 Looking at the tension, I'd say it's loaded. Unless we're talking Pop-Eyes it would probably take about 90-120 very strong body builders to turn this over
Well this image is from israel they drive allot older trucks, still american trucks do have more power and are much longer but what is the point? why need 600hp when you can do just fine with a lighter & shorter truck with 450hp or even 380hp like most common eu-trucks. Well maybe you americans should import soms eu-trucks and try them out who knows it will help you pull down the polution.
How t destroy a semitrailer, complete course... Someone a bit smarter would have undocked the container from the trailer, then using the crane and two wires to be attached btw left of the trailer and right of the container he could have taken down the chassis without destroying it... Then the box could have gone right again with 2 chains for lifting and 2 longer for stabilizing. If the operator was smarter...
