CONTEMPORARY DANCE
From absolute beginners right through to advanced dancers - come and join our growing contemporary dance family in Geelong.
Classes begin with exercises that focus on body awareness and progress to more dynamic sequences. The Loft contemporary classes combine strong technical foundations with an understanding of safe dance practice, developing ease and freedom of movement. Drawing upon influences from release based techniques, floor work and somatic practices, dancers are encouraged to explore efficiency in movement through the use of momentum and weight. Imagery is often utilised to further explore concepts. Enjoy dancing to music from across a range of styles - electronica, classical, experimental, pop and indie. A supported and safe space. Qualified teachers.
