Stunning - I have viewed a lot of various types of home repair/building and these really stand out. Appreciate your work! Gave me a couple great ideas as well. Thanks again, keep after it
9 years later : where are the plants ? Where's the greenery? Thank god we have returned to more natural ways of integrating our gardens into the nature .
so many excellent ideas,i might take up on one of them! my garden doesn't look too bad,but after watching this,i feel there's room for improvement.thank you for posting this video.
# All the contemporary #landscape design shown in the video are absolutely amazing. Having these in your home will enhance it's look and functionality.
OMG.. Txu so much for posting those inspiring images. My hubby & I have recently purchased a house that needs complete modernisation (on a budget) & the whole grounds of the property need doing desperately..I love interior design but have never had to do a full garden from scratch. U have given me soo much inspiration and finally real excitement about the experience and hopefully rewarding ending..Txs again x
Liked the first one a lot. Like the curves and the big bench. Not all of them, but that just tast. And i don't have childern or pets and i like to sit in my garden at night. So different people have different wishes. But they all look stunning. Also the house of the last one with the wood looks great. The garden fits very nice by the house. I have a cheap dull looking house. So i gone try to make some 'moss grafitti' on the ugly walls. And try to hide it.... Thanx for showing !
WOW! The designs and lay-out shown on these photos are absolutely amazing! These photos will speak for itself the ideas utilized to completely create such magnificent garden. Thank you for sharing your gallery!
Many thanks, I've been looking for "landscaping designs for small gardens" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Giyily Landscaping Yatty - (search on google ) ? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my work buddy got cool success with it.
I must say that these features were being built with great passion and intense innovation. It seems like very perfectly crafted and well-designed scenario. All in all, the transformations were very good. Great works!
I have a couple of landscape contractors I work with, sometimes clients prefer to use their own contractors, I'm happy with to do either, though I prefer working with my own teams as I know they have the skills to build the gardens perfectly. I charge each design individually rather than as a percentage of the project as it all depends on the complexity of the design. I agree it can be hard to get into the exclusive work but I think that will change with the current economic climate.
You're very welcome. Consistently doing good work for a good price always wins in the end in my book. Doing a good job is what people really want over and above getting a well known 'name' in the business. I'm sure with your attitude you'll get where you want to go.
Thanks for all the comments - it's flattering that so many people think these are million dollar gardens - it's true this type of landscaping isn't cheap but the gardens we built in the video were from 18-34K (there's 2 gardens we didn't build so they may have been more). You don't need to spend anywhere near that to create a nice looking garden though - design is more about shape than anything, yes rendered walls etc are nice but not necessary in most gardens.
This is glorious, been searching for "landscape garden photos" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Giyily Landscaping Yatty - (just google it ) ? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my mate got excellent results with it.
Thanks Doris - the hardwood decking is called IPE and the white walls were a special white render called through-colour which is applied to concrete blocks. As to which plants to use, I've worked in LA and New York area but not Las Vegas (yet!) so I'm not familiar enough with the climate to make suggestions, do you have a local nursery you can ask? Things like Agaves & yuccas spring to mind, all depends on winter temperatures. Hope that helps.
This was great, I've been looking for "landscaping a garden ideas" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Giyily Landscaping Yatty - (search on google ) ? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my mate got great results with it.
Nice transformations and designs but did you intentionally place piles of wood and clothes on the lines in the before pictures to make the after pictures seem more drastic? How can I incorporate wood and stone into my landscape if I dont build a deck? Can I just place wood as shown in the circular design picture, onto dirt in my yard or do I need a specific way to prepare the ground first and how did you make it into a circle?
+Baby Bear Thank you for your comment :-) No, we don't intentionally add more clothes to make the gardens look bad :-) For more ways to incorporate wood in the garden check out www.successfulgardendesign.com/garden-pergolas-pt-1-how-to-know-if-your-garden-needs-one/
TFS!!! What's the wooden plank flooring called... Is it real wood or synthetic ... Durability & upkeep? Thanks so much, loved your designs. Subscribed.
M S Hi the wooden decking is called Ipe - it's a hardwood decking so it's very durable. As for upkeep, if you want to keep the nice brown colour you would need to oil it each year, how many times would depend on how severe your weather conditions are. If you don't oil it, it goes a silver colour, which some people prefer. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching :)
Hello, your ideas are AWESOME I love them, I would like to know what kind of wood did you used for the floor and what kind of plants you can recommend for desert temperatures (Las Vegas) also what did you used for build the walls (white ones on the corners) thank you, Doris

Hello! Can we make translation into russian of your videos from your rubric in RU-vid and post it on RU-vid ? Thanks in advance! I will wait for your reply!” Kind regards, Grigory
Hi Grigory - Have you tried the translations that RU-vid already do with the captions? If you click on the captions icon at the bottom of the video and choose the translate option, you can see the captions in Russian or any other language - I don't know how accurate they are, but might be worth trying as it will save you a lot of effort!
Hello! We would like to voice your videos into Russian and post it on RU-vid. At the end of the each video we can link back to your source. I will wait your response! Kind regards, Grigory

Sorry...I sounded rude. I did not mean to be. There are some attractive features shown here, but I suppose I just like a garden to have a more natural feel. I still feel the same about the music though....lol
Yes, the contemporary gardens do have a lot of hard landscaping - there's more of a mix in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-C-Ok0AXBuEs.html
What can rachel do for me if I have 200 dollars instead of 500,000? I guarantee you the other dislikes are all from working class individuals who got aggravated after they basically, from their viewpoint, watched people flaunt their money; then read some of the comments where one rich person lauded another for how they blew their money on something most would consider frivolous. Don't like what I'm saying? Get a website and take your video off of youtube! I'm s u r e you can afford it, rach.
