having been a fan of bo's work for years, the "I'm sorry I was gone, but look I made you some content! daddy made you your favorite, open wide" line is equal parts heart-wrenching and hilarious

Not just is this guy a comedic genius but he is also insanely intelligent and his production skills are insane. An amazing special that really captures how shitty the lockdown was for a lot of people.

I love how the light is the "content" spraying out of his head and across this one room where we'll be seeing all of it play out.

This is honestly such a masterpiece movie, every single song is so good, some are great, the cinematography and editing are top notch, and the inventiveness of it all… really hope it gets a couple nominations

When you really examine this shot. You realize the amount of planning that went into it was insane.

Holy shit I just realised how perfect the timing is, he got the disco ball spinning perfectly so that it would stop and change direction right on "here comes the content" it's those little details that really make this such a masterpiece

The more you watch this the more you realise... I mean, he's projecting light from his head onto a disco ball, the whole thing is a metaphor for brain dumping himself and broadcasting it to the whole world via the internet.

Everytime I'm feeling sad, I play this song and sing the lyrics. I've noted that when the sadness is intense, I start to cry with ease, but when the song ends without tears in my eyes I know it's just that sadness that will go away in a couple of days. It's a good metric to know if I really need to give myself space and stop to reflect. I know Bo is not gonna read this but I'm really grateful for his work.

Love how Bo suddenly disappears as the song ends, and everything in the room is shifted around. It both sets the stage for the "content" you'll be seeing the whole movie, and shows the passage of time.

This song scratches the best parts of my brain and the lighting and editing is SO GORGEOUS. Like the artistry and idea behind the imagery is so good! And the song is a WHOLE bop

This special dropped on Netflix about 9 months ago and the world's top scientists are still trying to determine exactly why the fuck the keyboard in this song slaps as hard as it does.

Ngl when I first saw Inside when it came out I had tears in my eyes when this started playing seeing Bo in his element after 4 years gone was very cathartic and fun to see

Whether intentional or not, the imagery of a beam (stream) of consciousness from the frontal cortex to a rapidly spinning ball of reflection which projects a continuous string of separate but connected motes of light which only slow down to reverse and re-appear just as fast is…prophetic.

I don’t know if it was intentional, because it doesn’t really make it deeper and is just interesting wordplay, but I kind of love that the word “content” which obviously we use all the time to refer to media/work created for social media consumption, just literally means “things that are contained” Where are things contained? Inside. Also if you change the stress on syllables from CON-tent to con-TENT, you get the “content” that means happy/peaceful/satisfied. Since his last special was called “Make Happy” it’s kinda cool that this song’s wording implies he’s trying the same thing: making you/him happy. Or making you/him conTENT. But he can’t quite do that, he can just make a comedy special. He can’t make you/himself conTENT, he can only make you/himself CONtent. Even if it’s not on purpose it’s the kind of thing I think is neat
