There's genuine greatness in Tyson Fury. He's a brave warrior inside the ring, and a warrior for decency, morality and family values outside the ring. I doubt whether anyone in recent history is more deserving of a knighthood, after his truly magnificent performance to win the heavyweight boxing championships. Too fast, too big, too strong, too fit and too young for Klitschko.
I think the proper fans know about him since 09, i watched all his fights on telly for free. The proper fans know how he's progressed with regards to his fighting style, now he is the complete boxer. That right hand he used on wilder is what he was missing along with that jab that he steps in with now. He uses his weight when stepping in now when he jabs and lets that right hand fly now. Before he used to flick the jab out, now he's solid. Been watching him since day 1. This version of him would destroy past versions of him
He deserves to be number 1 now, my opinion is he had that doubt over his ability to dominate all the way through to the first wilder fight. He started to change after that, destroyed the German guy and then slugged it out with wallin, but now he's absolutely the man, completely solid.
@Connor most of the connors i know are younger then me by atleast 15 years. That name was being given out alot more from the late nineties and onwards so if i was to guess I'd say your in your mid to late 20's. Anyway what has my age got to do with any of this? Do i look or sound like tyson's dad? Im a fan, and im more knowledgeable then most. I actually watch boxing not just talk about it. And my opinion has fuckall to do with you coz if you only heard about fury years after his debut then im guessing your not up to date on British boxers which is fine really, but my advice would be to stick to what you know and dont comment about stuff you don't know. You see in 09 id been waiting for a British boxer to take it to the heavyweight division, and when i saw tyson at first i wasn't too sure. But when he took cunningham out i knew this guy was capable. And if i pay to watch boxing now then why wouldn't i watch it for free on tv. All his first fights where free on tv. Even kid galahad made his debut on channel five. Free again so pls stop replying
+I wonder if this is the longest username out there, I think u will find Billy Joe stole it from Tyson in one of the Fury Vs Chisora II pressers before the fight was postponed from July to November
+Cruyff1987 He has a point about a few of them. Quigg and Frampton seem to want to wait for Rigondeaux to get even older before fighting him even though he has called them both out and wants to fight. Selby is good but he is in a tough division and will see how he does against Leo Santa Cruz, Gary Russell Jr and Lomachenko. Flanagan won the fight against Zepeda when it should have been a no contest as Zepeda didn't dislocate his shoulder on purpose in Rd 2. It was an accident. Crolla Flangan should be a good match and then the winner can take on Linares to unify the division. Linares is the main man in that lightweight division Middleweight has some good talent - Saunders, Lee, Eubank Jr etc but Golovkin is the man there. I think he is trying to say none of them have unified a division or beaten the main man in the division to win a belt. If there was just one champion per division a lot of the Brit guys wouldn't hold a belt. Basically saying no one has done what he did
"Pound for Pound" is an irrelevant concept now Tyson, just like you said in the interview. Congratulations on the greatest individual boxing performance since Clay/Liston, and very probably the best ever by any British boxer. You are a genuine "force of nature" and a true inspiration to all decent and moral people. Well done mate.
"if this tie wasn't a tie, it could probably be a scarf" lmaooo. Fury is hilarious. And also his p4p argument is very valid. The best is the no.1 heavyweight.
I can't believe a few years ago I couldn't stand this guy! Yet now I have the most respect and love any interview or press conference that he does, good luck to you Tyson.
Tyson Is the man, even now still watch these odd old clips, his interviews are class, guy is pure entertainment, he is a character alright but comes over like a down to earth dude, hope he comes back strong

Khalil Joaquin Wilders WBC belt is a joke because it's a hand me down belt, Stiverne was gifted it because it was Vacant after Vitali Klitchko retired Stiverne was gifted it against a Fat Arreola, Belts that aren't won from a champion in the ring are devalued and Deontay Wilder is a paper Champion Because he didn't beat a fighter who has beat a world Champion, and Because he has never Defended that belt against a Mandatory or any top 5 contender, the WBC are also the most corrupt out of all the Boxing governing bodies, Don King paid them bribes for years.
This the real Tyson speaking, very honest. Love or hate him he has made the heavy weight division exciting and has brought tons of entertainment back into what was a dead division.
I saw this guy in conversation year's ago before I even saw him fight he was funny as hell! I knew he would turn out to be something unique he never fails to entertain! Boxing needs more characters..
I'm impressed by Fury's knowledge of the fighters in other divisions; suprisingly a lot of fighters you see interviewed these days aren't even entirely across the contenders in their own division let alone who is doing what 3, 4 or 5 divisions away.
I watch the Olympics and of course always want gb athletes to win. Even us British fans knew he lost that fight. That AJ gold metal is an absolute rig...even he knew it. When they said the winner is "Anthony Joshua" he looked surprise and didn't know how to celebrate. It's not hate at all b4 you start pouncing on me, it just seems a bit fake to start the boxing story with a medal you don't deserve. But anyway...Fury will school Joshua. Nt run around the ring...but outbox him
You have to respect Tyson's knowledge of boxing - he is a true student of not just the sport, but the art as well. I really believe Boxing needs Tyson more than we know.
came here looking for the bigoted rants and controversial statements the mainstream boxing media have been talking about, and ended up seeing a great interview with an extremely insightful and knowledgeable fighter who can also tell a joke or two. looking forward to seeing him end the klitschko heavyweight tyranny
I'm here watching in 2021 after watching fury beating wilder twice technically and in my opinion, all 3 times. Who's with me? Come on IFL give me a like on this.
Very good interview; the interviewer (who, unlike many other interviewers didn't think he was the 'star of the show') let Tyson do all the talking and didn't interrupt with inane questions. And Tyson was remarkably well-informed and nothing like the persona he/his management have cultivated. Big thumbs up for this piece.
This needs a repost he spoke about so many things and a lot them relate to the wilder trilogy and recent events tyson's be the real deal from day 1 Or even better have a nother hr interview like this where its just 2 mates having a chat about same sort of subjects and how he's views boxing as a hole awesome interview 👏
What Tyson means is when these fighters win the world title they lose it as soon as they fight anyone decent. A real world champion wins the title from a real champion and keeps the title by beating the best in the devision not fighting bums and adding false hype
Darren Barker beat a weak fighter to win the IBF world title but lost it when he fought Sturm as his 2nd defence. At the time Hearn was bricking it and didn't want the fight to be in Germany but lost the purse bid and was forced to have Barker fight Sturm in Germany.
1 thing nobody can ever say about this man is in all his videos &interviews he's always 100% straight talk, honest &no BULLSHIT like others, very very nice bloke, probably sometimes to honest.🇮🇪👏🥊🥊respect my man
Tyson, make sure you take your own food to Germany. Dont take any risks. They love Klitschko over there and you might end up getting the 2 bob bits accidentally on purpose in a restaurant.
