I experience chronic pain, alongside chronic depression. I jump between content and fear, depending on if I go back to my initial naive expectations of life - or just sit with it and accept what is. The latter happens far less if I absorb stress from my surroundings. Forgive others, forgive myself and letting go. That order works for me.
