In this episode, Glen Scrivener and Andrew Wilson explore the role of geography, technology, and coincidence in the spread of Christianity, which has so fundamentally shaped our assumptions about the world. (Isa. 53 John 3:30) …{45:12}… I was surprised to read John the baptizer’s statement in Greek, stating “He must increase, I [only] decrease.” That’s what comes to me as I attempt to consider these contingencies “providentially.” Thanks again for sharing this sober piece with us.

I'm loving this series! Thanks for posting it. I'm going to forward the third episode to my scientist friends as a way to help them understand my Christian perspective...which they reflexively dismiss. Ah well, they'll most likely tune out. History isn't their thing. Not "quantifiable" dontcha know. Not "objective". Still, they're kind and compassionate people. Your series might help them to understand why that is.

For an "uneducated" westerner, this podcast is absolutely nourishing food, both thought opening and inspiring. It all makes so much sense and already, after the two podcasts, I have so much better understanding of why the west is so different in its thinking. And I've wondered about that for many a year. Thank you so much - looking forward to hearing more!

Self-evident is merely a rhetorical device to amplify consensus. The solidatity we have had since 1776 is provided for in thevachievements of solidarity , sacrifice (those who have died defemding the U.S.A.) and the prayerful protectiin if believers. Unlike this unfocused and silly conversation.
