That sticky feeling you describe for the metal Mario is because the plush is made of a like vinyl material. His material can peal and break overtime, the parts of metal Mario like the overalls,eyes, and overall buttons are glued on.

I think you should do the Super Mario Sunshire collection and the Super Mario Galaxy collection so then you have the full collection from the three games of Super Mario 3D All-stars (plush version).
