thank you for this video ...... But i think the equation of the triangular load used in this video is wrong; as if we use the general equation to define triangular distributed load (X-XA)/(XA-XB)=(Y-YA)/(YA-YB) the solution will be y = -2000x +5000 and if we solve this equation by the boundary conditions of point A=(0.5,4000) load will be 4000 and also point B = (2.5,0) the load will be zero
Hello, I thank you for the video; it is very interesting as subject but the equation of the load distributed in the form of a triangle: y = -4000x + 10000 Normally it’s : y=-2000x+5000
Interesting video and useful for ABAQUS users to see how some of the functionality in CAE operates. But, sadly, it is rather spoiled by a number of simple and also more subtle errors. The most worrying is that no mesh refinement has been undertaken and, having checked it, there is likely to be significant error in the prediction of the maximum bending moment. Since the video does not show which of the many beam elements available has been used then I cannot quantify this exactly but it is likely, from past experience, that the predicted bending moment is less than the true value and, therefore, will lead to an over prediction of the capacity of the beam, i.e., an unsafe prediction.
I really appreciate your job, such a piece of work by the way. But, how can I improve the process do create the path? I mean, if I made 100 nodes it will be hard to choose each one. How can I select all the nodes in one move?
thank you for great video sir, i want to plot shearforce, bending moment and deflection diagrams in a single graphs with different elements(i.e seeding whole beam into 1 then its s.f,B.m& deflction , for seeding whole beam into 10 then its S.f ,B.m and deflection) how can i do it?
hi i need to apply radial load in one step and axial load in another step radial load need to be propagated while axial load is being applied. can you please help me with above problem
