Great great great video. I just bought a Triplefine F35 pro which is just like the Contixo F35 as far as I can tell. Anyhow I found the directions it came with kind of lame and was hesitant to get my drone into the air until I found your video. I watched the video and this morning (Sunday) I had my first flight and it was a blast. Thanks for a great video!!!
Very informative video thank you. I’ve watched a few times but I’m still having trouble getting the flight together. Can you make a flight test video from the perspective of your controller ? I don’t know what button controls what 😭
Please how can we add audio to our video. Drones don't come with mic bcs of the noise. But how can we use am external mic to ad audio to our footage. And which platform enables us to do so.....
Both joysticks down and in (5 o'clock & 7 o'clock position) if your in GPS mode the motors may not unlock until the drone has connected to a sufficient number of satellites (I thinks it 7 or more)
You could, it will take longer for the battery to charge, but I wouldn't recommend charging the battery while it is in the drone, just in case something were to go wrong with the battery, if swells or leaks or gets to hot while it's charging it can ruin your drone!
Push both joysticks down and inward (5 o'clock position left joystick and 7 o'clock position right joystick) and hold them there until the motors stop(page 16 in the manual) if the Drone is in flight push the left joystick down until the drone lands and keep holding the joystick down until the motors shut off, the motors will also shut off automatically after 20 seconds if you start the motors and don't take off!
This drone has been in me "Cart" for three days now just one mouse click from ordering. The only thing I've noticed and would like you to confirm, is this does not actually tell you the amount of satellites its connected to. Is that what I am seeing? Thank you.
The controller itself does not buy I do believe the app does next to the satellite symbol and the drone will not let you take off GPS mode if it is not connected to 7 or more satellites
The batteries come only partially charged since I would recommend giving them a full charge first that way you will get the max flight time out of the batteries.
There is 3 different models and this is the highest model. I like the middle and the highest but when it comes this drone. I can afford the highest. Make my own video when i get it. a Zombie video jk Good Video explaining it.
I wish you showed how to fly the drone. I have this drone but I cannot get it to lift the ground. the App says slide to unlock but sliding to unlock doesn't help.
If push both joysticks down and in (5 o'clock & 7 o'clock positions) the motors will unlock, then you can either push the one key take-off and Land button on the app, or simply push up on the left joystick and the drone will take off, keep in mind if the drone is not connected to enough satellite signals it won't let you take off!
Liked the tutorial, thanks!! BTW, the drone battery indicator on my controller doesn't appear to light up at any point... possible I'm missing something?
I haven't flown this drone in awhile but I will pull it out and see what I can figure our and I will let know later today or tomorrow morning! Thanos for Watching I really appreciate it!!!
I watched your tutorial a couple more times and see where your battery power indicators on your controller were not lit up either (about 25 minutes into it, while calibrating gyro). I'm confused.
Hmm! I just set a reminder on phone to outlook my F35 controller out tomorrow and see whats going on, sorry for the delay I have super busy but I haven't forgotten about you! Something makes me think it only comes on when the battery gets to certain point, your talking about the drone's battery level right Not the controller's battery level?
If you are referring to the battery icon one the upper right hand side of the controller screen that is actually the controllers battery status the controller on this Drone doesn't have a drone battery level indicator the battery symbol on your controller (upper right hand side) is only used when your charging the controller it should be Red while charging and turn Green after it is fully charged. The App is the only way to see the Drones actual battery level. I hope this helps if you have any questions or ever need any help don't hesitate to send me a message!
how sad bought my first f35 drone operated it indoor and i crashed it twice on ceiling and wall but its still fine a bunch of scratches though but in the long run pretty sure its at its half life now i thought it was easy but no i only have a little amount of time to react and nothing but confusion once its in mid air, took it outside and it was a much better control not bad for a $800 from best buy those crashes were pretty extreme too but its still works fine as hell good thing i have the warranty
Dam dude you paid $800 for the F35 at Best Buy that's almost 3X what it costs on Amazon oh yes flying indoors is nerve racking but practice makes perfect lol (try practicing with a mini)
@@HubCityDrones yeah i did saw some cheaper ones on amazon but i did my research right after buying this one though Lmfao but i get so skeptical about them to why its cheaper so in the back of my head "maybe its a second hand" but o well its the excitement that convinced me to get one right away its funny how they advertise the capability of it having a 4k video quality when it aint even close, to me its 1080p.
@@B-Century this is 4K @ 30Fps on the SD Card they all pretty much save the video on to your phone in 720P that's why I say in the video you need an SD Card !
You can the RTH (Return To Home) button or you can simply press the left joystick. (Descend) down and the drone will land, if you use the left joystick to land it make sure you keep holding it down until the propellers stop spinning
Yes it is called the UAV Forcast APP Great APP you do have yo pay $2.99 a month for the 7 day forecast the free version only gives you a day or 2 if I remember right, thank for Watching glad you liked it
If you long press and hold the RTH Button for 5/6 second (under the right joystick) it will turn off the GPS and put the drone into attitude mode, I would not recommend flying it indoors while in GPS mode because the GPA signal will be weak and lose contact with the drone, alway fly in attitude mode when in doors.
Lol! No there is no microphone, if I remember right, there should be a microphone icon on the lower right hand corner of the app that you can tap it and turn it on, but only records sound through your cellphone mic, the drone does not have a mic on it.
@@HubCityDrones do u know if the f22 battery will fit the f35 If finding it real hard to find an extra battery. Do you know any links or sites I can go to because on the contixo website it doesn’t have it for some reason
@bossmanbizz718 the DRCEE D22 and The Holy Stone HS600 batteries will fit in the F35, the are pretty much the same drone just rebranded, but compare the pic of the battery on Amazon with your battery, there are several more brands that fit as well like JJRC.
I have the Drone calibrated and everything is connected with my phone, but what do I do to make it fly? I'm pressing every combination of buttons and turning all the controls every witch way... But it just sits there for 10 minutes and turns itself off. How do we control this thing? You skipped that part and just went to it flying around.
After have calibrated the Compass and the Gyros, once the drone connects to enough satellite signals the App will say "ready to fly" or "GPS mode" in the upper left hand corner of the APP then you can unlock the motors by moving both joysticks down and in (5 o'clock & 7 o'clock) when the motors start up you can push the left joystick up to takeoff or press the one key take-off button on the App it in the lower left corner
@@HubCityDrones It worked, the drone flew for a while. Then a big gust of wind came out of nowhere, I lost control, and the drone crashed into the house. : ( I broke it. Now I'm contacting Contixo about repairs. I was a drone pilot for one day and I broke it. : (
@@HubCityDrones No, the camera snapped off and is hanging on by some wires. I'm contacting the manufacturer to see if there's a warranty or if repairs can be done.
I did everything you said to set it up and my drone will note fly at all. Everything says it's connected and says ready to fly in the app. Try to make it fly on the controller and not even the blades spin. Any tips? 😅
I got to the part where you hook wi-fi to device..I got a pop up saying on app Device Not Connect!!! I need help lol...ive had this drone for 2 years brand new and i cant get it set up 😅
@@HubCityDrones do I have to have Bluetooth on and wifi connected to this phone.just asking because my phone signal can't send messages while they're on.
No you do t need bluetooth, and I would recommend keeping your cellphone in airplane mode, just in case you lose the signal during flight, also if you have an old cellphone laying around, you can absolutely use that phone as your drone phone even if it doesn't have cell service, as long as the phone can connect to a wifi signal, thanks again for Watching, don't hesitate to send me a message if you have any more questions or need any more help!
Not necessarily if your in the spot you should be ok but I always recommend calibrating the drone every time you change the battery, better safe than sorry! And it only takes a few seconds to do!
Thank you for this video it helped me 110% followed all your instructions even after reading just when its explained it makes more sense. . Also i was wondering if you know or have a video of how to change the joysticks for the directional joystick would be on the left an throttle on the left joystick.. or is that even possible .. again thank you . This is my 1st drone.
Thanks for the great comment I am glad the video helped that is exactly why I do these videos! To swap the joysticks .....with the controller off press and hold the camera button (top left button on controller) and then press and hold the power button at the same time until the controller turns on you should hear two beeps to indicate the joysticks have been swapped. (Page 9 in the manual I think lol!) Thanks again for the comment have fun out there and don't hesitate to send me a comment if you need more help)
@@HubCityDrones thank you.. i didn't realize you can actually get in trouble for flying these things i had someone drive up an i was about to get a ticket but i said i have a license that i got online from the advice of a RU-vidr Hub City Drones they asked me for my license..And said they actually watched some of your videos before. so another good point you made is getting a license. Glad i got that licence before going out an playing with it.. and for my 1st drone this this is awesome .. just have to order another battery and keep practicing... i eventually want to upgrade to a really good one not that this one isn't good.. Again thank you for your advice .. when i post a video up my i use your channel as an advice link to potential drone pilot's to who ever needs good advice or instructions while flying??
Wow that's crazy! Who did you show your license to was it an officer or the FAA? Am glad they didn't give you a hard time! When your ready to upgrade your Drone I would look into a hubsan drone (now part of EXO drones) they are great drones , yes you can absolutely use my channel name in your video! Glad your having fun stay safe out there!
@@HubCityDrones couple guys in a Amazon delivery looking truck guy was holding a tablet saying bring it down or we will bring it down. I brought it down they punched in my number i got online asked for my id said thank you told me to download this other app so i can set a request that i will be flying my drone recreational in the encircled area on the app map..its called B4UFLY i told them i will when i get home.. they asked me to sign something i refused their request as per i dont sign anything unless my lawyer goes over it 1st an being 10:30 @ night i said im not about to wake him up on vacation knowing full well i dont have a lawyer im not rich.. hahaha they left haven't seen them since i did take a picture of their van and sent it to my buddie he's a cop but we served together so he looks into a few things here an their for me .. he said it was registered to the government and said that i was in the parking lot of the defense building here i didnt think it be a problem i knew were i was an what i was doing .. . Anyways how you been? Also i have a question . Is their anyway to boost or fix the GPS my controller keeps saying low GPS signal or it looses signal completely
To switch the controller from mode 2 (defualt mode) press and hold the camera button (top left button on controller) then while holding the camera button down power on the controller now your left joystick should be forward & Backward and the right joystick should be your Ascend and Descend. I can't remember if the controller will Default back to m9de when you power it off if not and you want to change it back just repeat the above process (page 11 in the manual) also I am SOOOOO SORRY am responding back to you so late I must have totally missed that part of your comment I truly apologize!
After you do a Compass Calibration and place the drone on the ground where it will Takeoff from the drone will start receiving signals from GPS satellites, most drones need to connect to at least 6 to 8 satellite in order for the drone to take off in GPS mode that way the drone will have accurate GPS coordinates to preform the GPS Failsafe Features (RTH, low battery, ect) if your app is telling you "No GPS signal" that means the drone is still waiting to find a sufficient number of satellite signals, it can sometimes take the drone a good minute or two or three to connect to enough satellites to put the drone in GPS mode, if the the app is still saying "No GPS", power off the drone and move it to a different Takeoff area a few feet away, if it is still not allowing you to Takeoff in GPS mode, redo the Compass Calibration and the Gyro Calibration, and keep trying, depending on the area you are flying in, there could be to much interference from cell towers, wifi signals, power lines ect that can effect the Drones ability to find satellite signals, I have had some drones take as long as 5 minutes or so to find enough satellites, it can be a little frustrating sometimes but don't give up, it WILL find enough satellites for you to take off!
Push both joysticks down and in left joystick to the 5 o'clock position and the right joystick to the 7 o'clock position, if your in GPS mode the motors will not unlock until the drone has established a sufficient number of satellite signals
@HubCityDrones appreciate it, I had figured it out, but didn't see it in the video and this is my first actual drone thanks for the video, very helpful
You have to unlock the motors, you also need to read your manual, the unlocking of the motors is on page 16, you also need to make sure you Calibrate the compass and the Gyros (page 14 & 15 of the Manual)
Has the motor ever worked? If so try blowing it out with a can of compressed air (I do that after Flight) if the motor didn't work straight our of the box I would contact Contixo (contact info in manual) or if your still in your return window I would return and get a new one.
At that height the drone is (would be) hard to see and with no GPS the wind plays a huge factor in controlling and keeping the drone in one place, speaking hypothetically that is LMAO!
@@HubCityDrones got it thanks that works I got to practice today if I may ask one more ? Please so before I begin to fly the lights are solid blue in the rear and white in the front but when Im in the air the back lights flash red and the front lights flash white may I ask what does that mean
@bossmanbizz718 I don't remember off hand, if you are recording video they will flash red to indicate that the drone is recording otherwise the will also flash red when the battery level gets to low
@bossmanbizz718 you can legally go up 400 ft, but if I remember the max height for the drone is like 396ft, they do that, so you don't accidentally go over the 400ft, the fine from the FAA for going over is pretty dam hefty! And no worries on all the questions, that's why I do what I do!
Power on the Drone and the controller then press and hold the RTH button(Return to Home) for 5 Secs this will turn off GPS it automatically go back to GPS when shut the controller off or you can long press the RTH Button for 5 seconds again
I have problem in my apps. When i connect to my drone wifi the apps will freeze then closed. I tried both iphone xr and xmax still the same. Can someone help me pls
@@HubCityDrones so im at the pointwhere he starts using the app and says push control and then the screen on his comes up but mine doesnt , i dont have that green bar going across my phone screen, and i cant see thru the camera at 29:24 says were gonna hit control and when i press control on the screeen nothing happens...
Hello, Thank you for promoting Contixo Drone. We have new products about to be launched. Are you interested in joining us. Please kind let me know. Thank you for your time. Kathy
@@magnusgarris981 if you are in GPS mode you have to calibrate the compass and Gyros the motors will not unlock until it has connected to at least 7 satellites then you can take both joysticks and push them down and inwards (5 and 7 o'clock position) the motors will unlock or you can take the drone out of GPS mode by long pressing the RTH button on the controller for 5 Secs this puts the drone in attitude mode (GPS Failsafe will not work if your not in GPS mode) after you long press the RTH button you can push both joysticks down and in like I described above and the motors will unlock
What Phone are you using? Make sure in the Apps permissions that location sharing is Allowed or you can try to put the phone in to Airplane Mode then open your wifi settings and turn wifi back on while in Airplane Mode. You can also Uninstall the App and then Install it again when you first open the app after reinstalling it you should see pop-ups asking for different permissions tap on "allow while using the app". Let me know if this help
Bring the Drone over your landing pad or the area you want to land and pull your left joystick down until the drone lands and the motors shut off other wise press the RTH Button (Return to Home) and no matter were the drone is at in the air it will automatically fly back to where it took off from and land
Are you downloading the video from the SD card? You have to either put the SD card in your computer or you can power on the Drone, connect to the Drones wifi signal on your cellphone, then open the app and go to the photo/video album in the app and select the video(s) and the tap the download icon and download them to your cellphone, it usually takes several minutes for the videos to download, so you'll need to unlock the motors every minute or so or the drone will shutoff and you'll have to start your download again!
