I think title is well. But this option of termination apply for both parties. So same mode has different implications- when it is terminated or decided not to continue by employer- it is the practice used by employers now a days. So take same case- if employer informs to employee within 90days not to continue and even if he has Qiwa contract, they are not terminating if there is no any offence etc, they and keep holding, and try to take the Iqama cost etc from leaving employee's settlement of 3rd month, which is badly affecting interest of employees. OR they demand new sponsor to pay the amount also. Ultimately, employers are finding new ways to manage now a days. Qiwa must apply some rules which are in gross interest of employees. This need deep research and knowing ground realities. AND bhai sahab- the person who has come to Saudi from abroad or even changed his job 3 months back ( he might has already paid from his pocket which is happening), why he should think to terminate unless any major issues. So lets think and advice based on major issues here.

Dear.. do the compensation clause will be applier to the local hired people. My contract does not mention any notice period like 30 days or 60day and does not mention anything about compensation... I have ended my contract in Qiwa and it shows 30 days notice period

I can’t understand much because of language barrier. But may I just ask about option 2 unwillingness to renew the contract, this means we still have to finish the contract duration, right? Also, we don’t have to pay anything to the employer neither they will charge us anything since we are able finish the contact and this is just like a notification that we are not renewing the contract anymore, right? Agar app ka 1st transfer hai to payment nahe karna hai, agar 2nd Transfer hai to SAR 2000 or 3rd transfer hai tho SAR 4000 pay karna parega new company ko. Kuch compnay lete hai or kuch nahe lete hai. Labor law maih isska clear guidlines nahe hai.

Raju, If you officially terminated the contract then company has only power to discuss with you to comply contractual terms. and if you comply then also they are not releasing you- It will be considered as a violation of contractual terms. You can approach labor court. It is always advisable to document every communication officially so that any misunderstanding be be avoided. If they renew the Iqama then its not employee issue. Just make sure the that employee do not accept any new contract. Keep OTP secure, to avoid and foul play.
