Using the mod should be as easy as downloading/subscribing to the mod, then being the host of a lobby and selecting the modded map in the map menu. If you’re checking in the “My Mod” tab in the mod menu, and still not seeing the “subscribed” mods, then I unfortunately don’t know what would be causing that. :/ If you’re looking for the “subscribed” mods in a game lobby, I have noticed there are several maps that show in the mod menu to be in my library, but for some reason don’t show up in a game lobby. Not sure why tho.. hopefully it fixes itself for you soon 🙏🏽

Sorry I missed your comment! You can’t modify loadouts for non-standard loadout mods unfortunately :/ you have to be in the game playing with the mod to change it.

@@nnico333 hi! Showdown is a battle royale game. Regular Contractor$ (this game) is a normal multiplayer game with game modes like FFA, TDM, domination, and more. Hope this helps!

Hi! Try things out in single player first! Go to the single player menu, then free roam, and select the map you want to walk around on. You can also select a particular loadout. Then hit start! @@barrydvrI downloaded about 20 maps and only 4 showed up in free roam even though it shows I have 20 downloaded. Are you sure these work?

@@garydelong7750 no, some maps straight up do not work with the game. But they don’t get taken down or fixed either. I would keep downloading different maps.

I’ve played a good amount of modded loadouts, but I can’t say I’ve seen one that has unlimited ammo 👎🏽 (small correction: the PUBG game mode mod has unlimited ammo, but only for your sidearm.) And I don’t think there is currently a way to modify specific elements of loadouts or game modes either :/

Hmm, have you tried pressing the B/Y button? That’s what the menu button is set to by default!

Hi! I would try resetting your internet router and headset and trying again. I think maybe there’s some error that isn’t clearing up to allow the download.

@barrydvr yeah we had a really bad storm which took out our brand new router so we had to go back to our crapy 11 yr old router

​@barrydvr ok so, i haven't restarted it yet but for some reason I lost connection to my internet and when I reconnected all my already downloaded mods just disappeared, i tried reinstalling them but it doesn't work. We just gotta hope that the router restart will work.

@@a-dallas-184 hi! You can still access the modded content offline too! To do so, go to single-player and select free roam. Then choose the map or loadout from the options on the next screen. Hope this helps!

Hmm, very odd. The only time I’ve had that happen was when my internet connection wasn’t the best and the game was having a hard time connecting to the mod services. Have you tried restarting your router/game/headset?

@Barry’d VR Gaming I tryed resetting my headset and my router it did not work, but when I reset my headset and I loaded it up, It told me to reconnect to the severs and I still couldn't use mods guess I have to play multilplayer then

Hi! You mean Vivox, right?? The in-game communications system? I’ve typically never had trouble with it but if that issue doesn’t fix itself, it might be worth reinstalling the game. Let me know if that fixes it.

@@CommanderThorn-rt9ee plenty! Go into single player -> free roam -> choose any map and/or loadout (modded or not) available in Contractor$ and start her up. You can also choose how many enemy/ally bots you want in the game. Hope this helps!

@@CommanderThorn-rt9ee if you’re asking about modded weapon loadouts, standard is honestly my favorite. Decent time to kill (TTK), great mobility and weapon handling. But aside from that, Gun Smoke and Charm (GSAC) is very popular, as is the PMC (milsim type loadout). GSAC has a much lower TTK, but a much larger selection of weapons. PMC is a very tactical experience, usually playing Rush style (from Battlefield) game modes. Other notable, less serious modded loadouts, are the Halo one and Titanfall.

You can create your own lobby and choose from the mods you have downloaded in the lobby menu!

That’s weird. Have you tried restarting the game, headset, and/or router? That might free up whatever bug is affecting your game.

@@barrydvr Yeah I have. My Star Wars one and plenty maps I have from the TF2 mod works but the actual TF2 mod doesn't. It shows a red star and it says reinstall but every time i do it doesn't work

@@RandomGuy-7 dang… well, maybe you could try uninstalling then reinstalling Contractor$? But if that doesn’t work, the only other thing I could do to help is refer you to the C$ discord. They should have a channel for the TF2 mod where you can get in touch with the guy who made it.

Hmm.. if you had already “subscribed” to some mods before checking, they likely already downloaded for you and were removed from that queue!

Hi! You go to the multiplayer menu then click under the one of the four boxes that pop up where it says create game. Make sure you select the mod platform game mode, not standard so that you have access to the mods!

Hmm, it sounds like it might be a network/install issue. I’d try going through the usual troubleshooting steps (restart headset/router/game, disconnect/reconnect your wifi, uninstall/reinstall the game). Hope one or all of these steps help!

Yes, you can! What you will do is go to the single-player menu -> free roam and select the mod from the loadout option on the next screen, then pick the map! It should work, unless it’s a custom mode, since you can only change the loadout and map. Hope this helps!
