Any chance for the OG blue/t'au sept colour scheme? What contrast paints would you recommend I use? I ve seen the Warhammer paint video but the light blue looks way lighter than the of models. Any tips?
These look fantastic although some alternative skin tones would've been awesome to see too!! (I play the Farsight Enclaves and I don't think the orange-brownish chitin really works for them, would you have any suggestions as to what may go with the Red armour and weaponry?) Will absolutely be using your tutorial for one of my teams though - Cheers!
Is this beginner friendly?? Do you thin your contrast paints? I've literally painted ONE model ever, it looks decent and table ready, but I love the box art for these guys and I'm overwhelmed by the number of paints used per model. I just feel like I'm gonna botch it.
This one in some ways is very beginner friendly, the highlighting section on the white details would be quite tricky to do and the Dawnstone highlighting on the black might be a little hard especially on the flatter areas but because we don't do any highlights on the Orange for example, that makes it quite beginner friendly. Also no you should never thin contrast paints with water or use them on a wet palette or anything like this. The times I thin down my Contrast Paints are with Lahmian or Contrast Medium and I put the amounts in the video for example if you ever see something like 2:1 Contrast Medium:Black Templar that means 2 brush loads of Contrast Medium and 1 brush load of Black Templar mixed together on a dry palette. Hope that all makes sense!
@@Warhipster SUPER helpful. Just trying to take a lot of information in on the hobby. Will be going back and rewatching this video as well as your old stuff to get more ideas. Will you be doing one for the Aqulion by chance?
