Control burn Windsor Castle, long time project 2/22/24 

They were doing a "back burn " that requires wind. Used properly wind can keep much of the heat away from desirable foliage. I been doing it for around 65 years.

They lit the fire to actually burn against or into the wind, called a backing fire. The wind actually helped to control the fire.
