I notice the SURFACE (GROUND) vs GRID coordinates are different by as much as 1000'??? Why? That is substantial. Elevations (orthometric based on geoid) are the same? Thanks!
Yes, you need to find it manually. Station on the control points you believe to be correct, and tehn walk with the total station to the grids on the job. Then ask yourself: does the total station's measurements match what you would esxpect in the field?
Unfortunately I'm not exactly sure what that might mean - I would have to consult with the person that put that angular dimension in there. Sorry I can't really help more.
