@@FrancisHD What is even your point ? I’m saying that bc her name start with a J, has red hair and telekinesis. You seriously can’t see the relation between those ? Also, why are you so negative ? If you don’t have anything nice to say than don’t say anything at all.
After playing this on ps5, i finally get the joke lmao Edit: when I made this comment, I literally only said the platform I played it on and im being targeted by toxic people already. I dont even have a ps5 anymore lol
@@handlemonium let's not give control to someone who smashs and throws stuff like tables and wall parts just to see how the real world mechanics work. The company will go bankrupt in a few days if there was a building left.
Especially when "actors" main duty is to hang around office with camera, making game dev. diaries ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gFhzVtHwJjA.html
Was the monster Phillip himself? As I remember about him talking about how he couldn't keep his eye on the fridge for not much longer & boom the monster has only 1? 🤔 🤔 🤔
I guess if she went to Comic-Con cosplaying as her own character, there would be a Charlie Chaplin situation where people think she's just another impersonator
@@coles1188 Charlie Chaplin was a very funny comedian during the great depression era and early WWII, he played as a character that didn't speak the entire comedic film. People likes him and pretend to be him, one day Charlie Chaplin attended a cosplay event of himself, being himself, and people thought that he was just a cosplayer.
Only because they cared and did it right, we don't need every studio over paying for real actors when they don't have devs who can properly work the mocap or you know make a decent game. That being said Remedy knows what they are doing and get better with each game!
I think in this generation and next generation having actors play themselves will become more and more common. I think games will become more easy to make and one way games will differentiate is through the use of big name actors. TV shows and movies might even be shot in game engines just so people can easily recut them and take advantage of immersive VR or 3d
She did such an amazing acting job, i really liked Jesse Faden. She was a badass and cool female main character and i connected to her in the moments she was like “this is really weird and crazy and i should run from this but you know what im kinda curios and in a way happy that im here“. It was kinda how i felt like playing and exploring.
I tend to disagree. Control is an overrated game pushed by the mainstream reviewers. The game doesn't let the player choose difficulty settings, you can't change monitor from the in-game menu, Northlight engine is outdated, glossy and shiny, the story is worse than Quantum Break, the monologues of the protagonist are annoying, the sounds of the hiss are annoying, the enemies re spawn when you pass through the area again, the powers are nice but we have seen those in Quantum Break, at least Control runs smoother than QB.
@@КалинМаринов-р7ъ What's the problem dude, can't switch to easy to finish the game? I expect a full 10 pages essay detailing everything that is wrong with the game and proof you have finished it by tomorrow 1pm or your opinion is wrong by default.
I was going through some tough times when I played this game. I wasn't sleeping for days, I was hating everything in life and was contemplating suicide as well. I got help and am doing much better now, but in my first few days of recovery, I played control. It's now one of my all time favorite games because of that. Thank you Remedy for making such a spectacular experience. I can't wait for Alan Wake 2.
Good to hear you're going better now! And should you ever find yourself going through tough times again, I want you to think of Jesse's favorite line of poetry: "Beyond the shadow you settle for, there is a miracle illuminated." Tough times are never permanent, remember that! "This is one moment, but know that another shall pierce you with a sudden painful joy." - T.S. Eliot *hugs*
crazy. I just failed that boss and the game spawned me 3 levels below him, about 2 minutes ago. took a break and watched this video, now saw your comment.
This is the epilogue lmao Also I love the fact they actually got her to do that one live-action scene of her almost getting corrupted by the hiss in the beginning
I kind of love how I don't question that there's an in-character tour of the Remedy studio. It's just one of those things that makes sense, like "yeah, seems like a Remedy thing to do." What I'm saying is that this is totally on brand, and that, in and of itself, is kooky.
@@TornaitSuperBird for the movies, I doubt they'd be able to unless they do another full on reboot and skip the origin story towards where Peter is already living his adult life. But she would have really worked in that PS4 game. Just my opinion, but MJ's character model & voice in that didn't quite nail it for me. I loved that game still but MJ was the weakest part for me. Courtney would have done wonders for that character and would have made her 'pop' more.
Should've gotten somebody more memorable than Philip to cover fridge duty. Joking aside, I think Philip might've sealed his own fate without being aware of doing so. You know the Book Club started by Penny? All members of said book club wrote a review of the book they were currently reading. They are all dead - Dying in similar fashion to what they wrote in their review. Philip was one of them, and in his review, he wrote the following: "“Unless You” hooked me right away. It began with visceral dismemberment scenes, and this great unsettling vibe created by the unexplained creature they named “the Fix”. As an avid horror fan, I loved how this story veered from the genre conventions into something a little more, for lack of a better word, weird. Everything felt familiar, but just a little off. The characters even comment on it, saying how their lives felt out of control, as if they were just programmed to perform the same empty actions over and over. Very meta. And I loved the way they left the ending wide-open. What happened to the guy ordered to watch those monitors for the rest of his life? Did the Fix get him? Is he dead? Did he end up in the parallel reality with the others? We don’t know. And that’s okay. All in all an interesting read. I’ll give it a solid 4/5. Points deducted for some of the clunky dialogue and unbelievable choices the characters made. I mean, who the hell would follow orders from their boss in the middle of such horrible slaughterfest? But I guess I shouldn’t demand too much realism from a work of fiction."
Remember the guy you see getting killed by the Floppy Disc throwing Pneumatic Tubes in his face? That's Samson, also a book club member. Here is the relevant bit from his book review: "What kind of ruined the whole thing for me was when my favorite character got killed not even halfway through the story by getting a battery cylinder launched into his face by a gravitational anomaly. His death didn't feel necessary at all."
Me: paying the game 30 bucks but can't afford DLCs Remedy: Control ultimate edition will be' free tomorrow for ps plus Also me: I don't know if i should be' happy or sad
I platinumed the game on PS5 just two days ago, after beating the game on PC when it came out (never bought the DLC either, just got it for free on ps plus in February)
Yeah she played the best character in quantum break, but not in control imo. Beth after time travel is one of my favourite characters of video game history.
@Hugo Stiglitz....Decided to go along with your suggestion to look up other photos of her ....And yep, she actually "Turned it Down" a little bit for this video game.
So basically: "This is me me me and me with a quote. In this room they do something related to game. And in that room they do something.. related to the game... Hot Chocolate." 🏃🏼♀️
I would kill for a short series or heck even a movie of Control. The cast is already there and excellent. Mainly just to hopefully expose more people to how awesome games can be. And Remedy had definitely shown us what that is.
@@j.francisward1897 i think the fact that her character is wayy less bubbly than she is irl, i mean, in the game she didnt smile much cause the weird and dangerous context of the game, and usually the models have minor changes to fit the tone of the game, one example is her eyes, in detroit become human, connor has a little wider and sharpened facial features than the actor irl
Well, considering that Jesse is the savior that'll get Alan Wake out of the shitshow he created for himself, we'll definitely see a lot more of Director Faden.
"So uh, this is the kitchen, my favorite place, and uh... this is a hallway, and this is a room, and uhh... this is another room, where they work on the game... and uh, this is another room. I don't know what they do here." The worlds most enthusiastic tour guide.
@@Charles-pj5gq No, it's her overall aura. The way she carries herself and she has the ideal height. If it was just her being a 'redhead' then they would just cast anyone lol
She is actually soooooooo beautiful in real-life and motion-capture herself as Jesse Faden. I already loving her now since the release of the Control video-game.
Just finished this for the first time. Idk why I waited so long. It's amazing the amount of effort they put into it. Very rare that studios nail both narrative and gameplay. Remedy doesn't miss.
I wasn't aware of the game until recently, but when I started playing Control, I was surprised by its history and game mechanics! It would be surreal if this video here was introduced in the game, as a Collectibles file! It would be an extra in the campaign! Congratulations on the beautiful work! 👏👏👏 Please continue this game! 😁😁
This just made me super happy idk why. I never stopped smiling. Although tbh all the remedy games protagonist are my favorite videogame characters 1st. ALAN WAKE (obvi, love his voice) 2nd. DIRECTOR JESSIE FADDEN (shes so pretty and I love her voice too) 3rd. JACK JOYCE (time travel powers lol)
Loved this. Courtney is so bubbly! It does make me wonder if Remedy’s facial capture wasn’t working as well as it did for Quantum Break. Courtney looked more accurate in Quantum Break than she did in Control
I know she’s a real person and everything and they even had live action cut scenes with her in the game. But is anybody else tripping out to seeing her walk around act like a regular person? I mean, she is a real person in real life, but just so used to see her flying around throwing stuff and talking to herself.
I just finished the game and watching this vid just now, its funny how she starts talking about the Fridge guy, i realise i left him and dident go back yet since credits rolled xD i will go back when clearing up the rest of the side missions for sure! xD
