Control synth with Max and a MOTU interface 

A tutorial on how to control pitch, velocity (overall volume) and gate for the envelope generator on an analog synth. It uses Max6 at the computer end connected to a MOTU Ultralite Mk3 audio interface, which produces varying DC voltages. Max6 produces floating point numeric output from -1.0 to +1.0. The numeric value causing an octave jump (change of 1 volt at the synthesiser end) is 0.240385. The MOTU is connected to the synth with jack plug to mono minijack cords. Please follow MOTU's instructions on how to wire these up for analog control.
