I suppose they could do it for views. For personal gain. Maybe just enjoy making them. But from our side it's from loneliness. Wanting to be wanted. Needing to be loved and not feeling it at all. It's a sad reality however we can find some comfort in knowing we're not alone and others feel this way. It can remind us we're still human and there's not something wrong with us. We just haven't found what we're looking for yet.

Honestly, I can't speak for everyone here but sometimes it's not about the sexual stuff and just more of the sentiment. Like I personally listen to asmr because I have insomnia and sometimes I just like being thought of. So even if the girl in the video isn't personally talking to me, it's cool to pretend like she is.
