That is a great call by the officials. The guy who put the ball in the goal was onside, his two friends were offside. I thought it was miles offside until I rewound the video and put in in .25 speed!
@@notfounder285 the two attackers who were in an offside position didn't gain an advantage by being in that position. Both did not challenge or interfere with an opponent, both did not play the ball. While one did start attempt to kick the ball, the onside player got there first and the attempt had no affect on the outcome.
My only thing I could see is the two guys offsides made an attempt on the ball which could have impacted the keepers decision on how to make a save. We have seen this in the prem and it being called offsides due to this fact. At the time of recording the laws may have been different but I would have called this offsides and not let a coach influence my decisions on the field.
Even though the player that scores wasn’t offside the other two players were and they made an attempt for it, bad call by the referee but it’s an honest mistake
Thanks for the video. My 2 Cents, From the 13mins of footage the referee was walking more than running but again, only 13mins though so just my opinion. The last minute goal was a good goal as the player that ended up kicking the ball wasn't offside at the moment that we are able to see the three white players. You can see him behind the 2nd to last defender. You can't see his exact location at the kick. At first the AR called for offside but I guess the white coach told them about the laws of the game so they had a second conversation lol. Would have been better if she would've called goal at their first chat though :)
At this level, you shouldn't be running all over the field as an official. It is better to be proactive and have the "best" angle to make key match decisions. The kids themselves do not know where the ball is going, so where would you like the referee to run?
@@dukewilson7101 funny how at one point in the video someone asks “where’s the referee?” When the attacker and keeper collided. If they can’t see the ref and they have a better view than the camera just makes you wonder. At what level of play should the referee jog a little more? World Cup?
What kind of camera set up do you use? I coach here in Colorado and have a channel where I post my games for my kids to go and look back at them but could use some insight on how to record better with better equipment, any insight?
