Hi Gaz, you can plant the Borage on your compost heap. They help decompose waste faster. Amazing plant. Funny that yours taste like fish, mine have always tasted sweet, I love to use them in a fresh salad for their sweetness. Anyway, enjoyed this video, your kitchen is a dream. Can't wait for the next few uploads you mentioned. Feeling inspired, thank you
It's so encouraging to see young people getting excited about connecting to mother earth's energy and growing your own food. It's true that once you start, each year you grow more. Gardening is my happy place. And cooking and preserving is a close second.
I’ve been here since Gaz cooking in his London apartment and I sure am here for all the woo woo. Just getting better and better. You are such an inspiration Gaz. Thank you for sharing your journey over the years ❤ I’ve just started my growing journey this year and I hope to improve year by year.
I've watched your channel for quite awhile now and I've learned a lot. I truly think you're beginning to 'hit your stride.' the earth is our home and mother.
Watching the video was like entering a different state of being, swimming peacefully in a different realm, where words are not necessary as minds are the like and feel each other. In a world where people are consumed by materialism, connecting with mother Earth is not understood by many. That makes the possibility to peek into your way of being, living and thinking through a tiny window, such an honer. Grateful for you!
Gaz, me and my girl been following you since your first cooking episodes in London. You‘ve been an inspiration to us from the start and it feels like we grow together with you. Back then we were in a small apartment in the city and now we moved abroad, started our first garden and soon will buy our own house with land. We love every single video of you but just wanted to let you know, this one was not weird at all, it’s fun to see you experimenting and we love to follow you. It’s nice to always keep an open mind. Also, you‘re not alone mixing up tomatoes and strawberries 😅 We got much love for you!
I tried it last year but in beds which were only in their second year, so very hard to tell whether it made any difference or whether it was the Spring application of compost. This year (again after compost) the same bed was again super good, but some other beds also with new compost weren't so great so next year I'm going to try it on those. I use a slightly different technique with much taller poles, but it doesn't seem to depend too much on the style of conductor.
Been planting with with crystals for years. Points up for above ground veggies and points down for root crops. I've not used the copper with the crystals. There are copper strips around the tops of my raised beds to keep slugs and snails out. I am going to experiment with the combo in the spring. Thanks Gaz ❤😄
I'm here for Gaz going slightly off the rails. You do you, Gaz❤❤😂 you're young. That's the time to play crazy French Wizzard selling onions. You go, mate❤❤❤
Not only are you my favourite Vegan chef. Not only are you my saviour when I feel stressed as your calm nature brings my blood pressure down. Not only are you living my dream. But your style and in creating a beautiful home is stunning. You really are a wonderful chap and I cant wait to get your new knife and cook book soon. THANK YOU Oh and one more thing any woman who ends up with you will be blessed. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
You inspire me so much, Gaz. I hesitate to say it, as it feels a bit odd, but I feel proud of you and so happy for you making this transformation. Look how far you've come from the first videos, in every way. I have my food forest here, but it's be a long process with reconstructing it after the first contractor skipped the country on us, and discouraged me in so many ways. But I am getting my inspiration back through you, and do plan to have my garden, cooking, lifestyle show/channel in due course. So I can't thank you enough for being such an amazing role model and showing what's possible with a little time, effort, interest, and attention. I am right behind you, and here rooting you on all the way. Thanks for all you do! ✌🌞🌱
Knife purchased-- Thank you! You've taught me so much Dear Gaz!! As a plant based gal X 5 years, I have started an ever expanding journey-- lifestyle medicine, minimal waste, growing food, ahimsa, gratitude, and kindness....May you always be joyful, peaceful and ever learning and growing! Many Blessings!
I loved the nasturtium salt you made. It’s on my list for next year. I grew Swiss chard and beet greens this year for the first time and have eaten all summer long- in salads and sautéed. Made Confit for the first time and loved it. Here I am 71 years old and just really discovering the joyful rewards of careful planning and commitment to grow my own small garden of food. My neighbors love it also. I enjoyed watching you for the first time- your excitement and curiosity for what you can achieve and enjoy is amazing.
Oh my God.. you had me laughing with your woo woo dance. I love your enthusiasm Gaz. Keep up the beautiful work and thank you for sharing it with the world! ❤
I love that you are embracing the power of crystals 🔮 absolutely love this Gaz. I've followed you since the beginning and have witnessed you evolve into a wholesome man, who is now living a balanced life focusing on a deep awareness of the world we live in, you have evolved and the more i watch your videos the more I want ❤️ honestly so many times ive thought 'i hope Gaz does a video on something new ive discovered' like magic 🎩 you do it...thanks Gaz ❤
You should build a couple of hot beds, that will help you produce a load of compost every year and give you an early and also extended growing period at the beginning and end of seasons😊
I too use copper rods in my Garden. I don’t care what anyone has to say about it. It definitely WORKS. Good on you for taking the time to do this. What you put into your garden, you will get back in return.
We started electro culture last year. We have two fig trees, one is 8 years old, and has never had any figs, until now. We also have lemons and limes, and wow, the trees are going crazy producing fruit. It really does work. Look into chemtrail busters too. On a bad chemtrail day, we usually have a big area of blue sky above our house.
This video brought a smile to my face we have just got an allotment and ar cleaning it up getting it ready for to start planting i reallt cant wait to see the benefits ❤
I have been following you for a while now and i always think that you are showing love to the nature in a wonderful way. The power in nature and mother earth is something we should appreciate everyday, without it we wouldn't be alive. So as i has written many times before. Thank you for sharing and spreading love ❤
Thank you for another great video. Those chickens sure do love following you around your yard 😂 You touched on so many great points. I loved hearing about some of the medicinal properties of your plants and am glad you will be doing more videos on this 🇨🇦
Electroculture is something I've been using in my small garden for the last couple of years, my wild strawberries grow three times the size of what I see them in the wild. Electoculture works 100% I've made some pretty funky electro culture sticks. Copper is so much fun to work with.
This is my second year using electroculture and we're having amazing results, love your videos especially your chickens as they're such a joy to watch.
I really like the copper and crystals, beautiful and hopefully helpful too. Your onions and cucumbers, delicious and of course the tomatoes. My dad grows different varieties of the tomatoes and he does the orange ones and makes soups so none of them get wasted at the end of the crop xx
You are my favourite chef Gaz. ❤ Your videos are a treat to the eyes, ears and mind. Hope to meet you someday in that lovely homestead of yours. Lots of love from India. 😃
Vancouver Island 🇨🇦 love your videos! We are a few years into growing veggies. Learning some things work and some don’t but definitely getting better. Our biggest struggle is rats, raccoons and squirrels.Deer can’t get over our fencing. Borage pops up every year and bees love it! Keep doing what your doing-it’s so great and we all learn together as we go. A rewarding journey! ❤
I always chuck a hand full of crystals in the garden to help the plants grow, I'm super keen to try the copper rods as well, I don't think it crazy at all. and your little garden wizard dance made me laugh out loud, so great, I bet that bed gets extra growing power 😂😂
Don't know if you can get them in the UK, but in Australia we have a product called Grostik which is a mini solar cell on a stick that goes in the garden bed, captures solar energy and converts to electrical current in the soil 💚🌱🌞
Yes! Electra-culture. I would love to talk to you. It can make your plants grow 3 times faster and bigger. It matters which way you wind the wire always pointing the crystal up ! Now go down the rabbit hole, look up orgon generator. When you wind your wire always wind from the bottom up to the right! Cheers, this is my second video watching! You are a delight. I love watching you grow.
It's always a pleasure to watch your videos, your beautiful garden and the Wales countryside. Your shiny personality is uplifting and inspiring. Thank you for sharing your story 🌱🌸💖
Hey Gaz! I am currently finishing my master's, I love what I do and hope that in the near future I can work on what I have been studying (which I love). However, in the far future I imagine myself embarking on the self learning process of growing food just like you do and oh boy... watching your videos takes me there, gives me vision, I imagine recipes with the things you pick up,... Honestly, I have always loved your videos, but these homestead ones bring me so much joy and motivation to reach that point in my life where I will turn my attention to growing food. Really, thank you. Love from a portuguese girl, leaving in the Netherlands, hoping to grow food somewhere in the world someday
I feel really relaxed watching your videos ❤ can i visit your garden please and have some fresh veg, i know uou really take care of your produce and it looks FANTASTIC when you pull them out ❤ we should be all doing this , when you buy from the supermarkets they have no nutrition in them or vitamins as they have been picked , put in a packets for days and lost there vitamins and texture, im so JEALOUS ❤
I’m here for all the woo woo Gaz 😂 your garden is looking amazing! We’ve just moved into the Scottish countryside and there is a lot of work to be done to our grounds but we’re hoping to get started with growing our own fruit and veg asap so your channel is a huge inspiration. Keep up the fab work!
Man, I just love your channel so much. It's so calming. I want your lifestyle so bad 😅 I've just started up a few garden beds with electroculture myself. I use large tomato stakes wrapped in copper. Apparently the longer they are, the better it works. Cant argue with the results people are having with electroculture. Thanks for inspiring us all to be more in touch with the earth 🙏😎
I'm so glad things are back on track in the garden! That's why I love you so much, because you are as positive as I am: you never give up. :) Here in Hungary there is no shortage of sunshine , it's been 35-39 degrees for 3 months now and no rain - and even here the snails are a problem everywhere. Before you even introduced it, I knew, intuitively felt, that you would bring electricity into your garden. Clean and energized water can also do wonders, growing giant plants. I see you've made improvements inside the house: the new dining table, the serving cabinet and the carpet weren't there before. And the promotions are helping to stabilize your state. The compost toilet is a good invention, although I haven't used it myself, there is an engineer and an actor here in Hungary who promotes it a lot :)
I'm loving your vids so much! I got the gardening bug big time in 2019 and it's so cool to watch you growing, cooking and enjoying life. Big hugs from our lovely tiny town, Kalbarri halfway up the coast of Western Australia
My favourite video of yours yet Gaz! And not weird at all! Crystals & copper are minerals & are as old as the earth itself. I love every video you create & seeing your inner child & adult self shine & thrive in gratitude is truly beautiful
From Australia I can feel your passion for your garden the way I do !! Thank you!!! I’m onto these new copper devices, I’ve heard how beneficial they are!! Love your videos 💚💚
This is another of your beautiful videos, I love the plans you mention for the future and hope to learn much from them about healthy living and healthy food. Great Job.
I use toilet paper rolls for seed starts. Just cut them in half, across the tube. Put in some soil and seeds and transplant when ready. You can just pop out the seedling from the bottom if it hasn't started breaking down.
There’s so much beauty in everything you do. The inspiration is off the scale, Gaz. Just imagine if everyone put this effort into connecting with mind, body and soul and the environment around them. Thanks for being one heck of a Vegan Badass ❤❤❤❤
I can’t thank you enough and I want to mention how much your video soothes my soul, the beautiful antenna’s are a brilliant idea and the light heartedness of you installing it with a dance ceremony was awesome 🤩 loved the tour, sounds like a dream to be able to do this! And please sign me up for the eco retreat I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else 🌱🙌🏼
