Thank you for your question! I'll do my best to assist you. For security reasons, the engine stops running when you open a HATCH or HOOD. However, in my experience, it doesn't happen when you open the doors or just grab the door handle with the key on you. Could you please provide more details about what exactly occurs? For instance, does the engine stop running every time you grab the door handle or press the unlock button on your remote? What make and model of car do you own?

Betsy, thanks for your comment. I would suggest checking with your local dealer as it should warm up your interior and heat your seats on a cold day.
