This is the most Berserk song I've ever heard, not only does it connect with me on a personal level but also I can see the characters of Berserk as a whole, Guts (the frightened little boy) Casca (the shattered little girl) such an amazing song and album.

Fact : any converge song over 7 minutes is automatically gold.

This is really an natural evolution not only for the band, but for Jacob also. Converge is really chaotic, but they found a way how to cope with the chaos so they can finally slow down like this. Jacob.. his vocals are really hard to understand, but finally - he is able to share his words more clearly. And i am happy for the fact, that he can trust us like this.

You just gotta love Converge ballads. I'm hoping this one will be sung by Chelsea Wolfe and Steve Von Till at some point in their career.

So fucking sad. I actually came close to crying listening to this. This is a masterpiece, and if anyone from converge reads this, I hope you know just how fucking awesome this song, along with the rest of the album, is. Love from the Mountain School in Vermont!

This is the first Converge album I've ever heard. (I was way late to the party on this band.) But I was instantly hooked in by the intense, complex, abrasive and beautiful nuances contained in this album. I'm just blown away.

as a long time converge fan since like 2003, this & 'a thousand miles between us' really are two of the best songs converge has ever written... (i can't even compare hem to old favorites like 'downpour' (and it's david lynch influence), or 'letterbomb,' because they're so different. but almost like them almost kinda..more. which is even more respectable.)
